Great for my work to give to visiting kids. Also, great for Halloween or anytime treats.

Buyers Beware
I bought this candy to make candy leis for my son’s graduation. From the advertised photo, it shows Mike & Ike’s, Skittles, and airheads. Perfect sizes to make leis. What I got was not what I expected to receive. See attached picture. The item is non refundable so I can’t get my money back for the purchase. Please know that what you think you’re purchasing is not what you will be expecting.

It's not like the picture- Be warned.
I'd be lying if I said it was a complete flop. It's not. I bought it for Halloween and it will work for that purpose, but I'm fairly certain American kids will give it a pass or at least a weary look as will some adults. I'm not by any means saying that they would be right or their reaction justified, but just be warned that you're not going to get the advertised quantity of Air heads, Warheads, and other more well know candies in the US. I'll give anything a chance, and I at least tried 1 of everything so I know what I'm giving out to the kids. Most are taffy type deals, hard candies you'd find in grandma's purse, candies you've probably not heard of, etc. That makes up like 75% of my 7.5 pound bag. the rest was a mix of Sour patch singles, tootsie pops, smarties, some warhead cubes, and fruity tootsie rolls.I found 1 or 2 new (to me) candies I like, most were "meh" and the rest were candies I'm familiar with and enjoy.I gave it 4 stars because it's fulfilling the purpose bought it for and I don't believe I received anything that was NOT advertised upon reading what is contained in the assortment. but I took a star away because your just not going to get the amount of "good stuff" you're seeing in that photo that I'm pretty sure you're expecting. You most certainly will be disappointed in this, thats all but inevitable. but whether or not its tolerable to you or not is the real question here. I'm pretty tolerable, and while I'm doing my best to be fair, I know in my heart of hearts, my 4 star review is going to be 2-3 stars for most other folks.*My advice to the sellers*The photo is what's selling. people cant be mad at your for giving them what they expect based on photos. I get that you have listed everything that could possibly be in the bag and give warnings that you might not get everything shown, but come on. you show the big ticket items because you know that's what folks are here for. at least make sure they get some. If I really wanted European candies, I'd go buy it. out of 7.5 pounds, maybe a pound of it was SOME of what was shown. and I feel like that might be about the same for a majority of the folks buying so at least try and make it a little more "fair"?

Great for kids
There was an assorted amount of candy and really good ones. I sent it to Africa for the little children and they totally enjoyed it.

OK- approx 158 suckers=14 cents each. About 9% were broken.
Unique variety of suckers. In the 5#, I got 158 suckers and about 14 of them were broken, unwrapped or stick-less. That averages about 14 cents per sucker. If you're simply looking at price per oz, that's 27 cents. But if you- like me- were looking for rewards for students, go for the Dum Dums (they're only about 8 cents each). I haven't tasted any, but if they are sugar, they'll likely be OK for my students taste buds. ;)

Generic
Generic candy that doesn’t match the picture advertised. If 0 stars were an option, that would have been the choice.
