is the outer body metal?

Yes. The body is metal. The body is awesome!! The wheels n tires are good. I don't want to sway opinions, but I do feel the interior is lacking. The hood does not open. And there's no knife under the rear bumper. 😄.

Is it supposed to look dirty and have smudges or...? Mines came like that and to add on, the box was open. Also the car has scratches on it too.

Not unless you ordered the dirty looking one. Yes they have a dirty version. Not sure about the scratches. Shouldn't have any. Just looks like it needs to be washed

What are the dimensions of the car itself?

Well the car is I believe a 1/18 and it’s great size but i have it in tge box to protect it from the dust so I’m sorry I can’t be more help then what i just said hope it help i love it and if u are a fan of the movie u will as well

Can a kid play with this toy, or is it a shelf only collector car?
