Of course can. You only need a power bank to use the light board wherever you like. The light pad is powered by USB cable, compatible with power banks, wall charger, computers, laptops, and any other USB-enabled power supply.

Does it have to be plugged in to the usb to work?

Yes you will need a USB adapter

It won’t work on every charger I tried all the charges at home and only worked on on, I tried changing the cable same issue and changed the charger same issue I think the light pad itself is faulty Am not satisfied
