can you use this on metal or chrome trim on car or do i have to buy the collinite metal wax too??

Collinite according to the directions on the container can be used on all of the painted metal including chrome trim and plated metals. It should not be used on the black plastic cladding and rubber found on the exterior of a vehicle. Collinite works great and seems to last a long time . It's very easy to apply and buff off.

Can this be used on a RV? Also, can you apply with a low speed buffer?

Yes and yes. I've used this on different surfaces with great results, even the cultured marble in my shower. And I've used my buffer to apply and remove (buff out) the wax, just don't apply too much as it will sling it everywhere. But I will say their paste wax No. 476S holds up longer than this liquid wax.

Does it need a bond time before buffing off?

yes, it needs to haze before buffing off. I apply it with a random orbital for a smooth even coat. Usually takes 5-10 minutes to haze. Don't use in direct sunlight (shade ok)

Is there an expiration date, or how long can you keep the unused portion in your garage?

There's no real expiration date. However, if a bottle has been sitting for more than a few months, you'd want to warm the wax and shake it thoroughly as contents will settle to the bottom. If it's opened and dried out, usually best to get a new bottle.
