I love this highlighting kit and always get compliments when I get my hair cut. It is so easy to use and does an amazing job. Sadly L'oreal has discontinued selling it. I have used this for over 10 years and love having these highlights as I get older and my hair gets darker. The highlights make me feel 'happier'. I really can't justify paying the crazy amounts they charge for highlights in a salon. I think the salons complained this stuff is too good so L'oreal caved in and took it away. (I did write L'oreal and ask, they just told me sorry, discontinued)I was beyond happy when I just found these last couple on Amazon. I have been everywhere looking online and in person.

I have NATURALLY dark blonde hair. My hair lifts easily. I've highlighted my own hair for 20 years. I used to use L'Oreal touch on highlights, and it worked like a dream every time--hair stylists couldn't believe it wasn't professionally done. L'Oreal hates us so discontinued that product. This is the second time I tried this formulation. The first time it didn't lift all the way AND it lifted unevenly, but I thought it was because the stupid wand is SO BAD I couldn't get enough product on the strands of hair. This time I used my fingers and a fingertip brush from another kit. The problem is that the product is SO RUNNY that it CAUSES BLOTCHES. Not only did it not lift PART of my hair, leaving it slightly orange, BUT I LOOK LIKE A CHEETAH with blotches of lightened (orange-y) hair on top of my head where it bled onto the other hair. So I got this product called Goodbye Yellow, and it helped a lot but the problem is my hair has DIFFERENT LEVELS OF BLONDE NOW. So I tried to get the Goodbye Yellow on the parts that needed it, but it is a shampoo so it ended up on the parts that didn't need it, thereby turning those parts more ashy. I need justice. I cannot recommend this product. I don't know how it has so many good reviews. It is awful.

Easy to use but not as bright blonde as I expected. I have dark blonde hair and these came out kind of medium blonde except for spots close to my scalp that turned blonder - must have something to do with heat so if you are using these expect them to be lighter toward your head unless you wrap your hair up under a cap of some sort.

Gives beautiful, natural, cool highlights! Super easy to apply. I don't use the applicator-just rub a bit between my fingers and bring it down from the roots . I'm not sure why anyone would spend $100's when they could pay $10 and easily do their hair at home. I estimate I've saved over $40,000 doing my own hair in the last 30 years!

I don’t think any of these so-called easy to use products are particularly easy to use, but I might be extremely challenged when it comes to this; -hand to hair mirror coordination..So if you’re like me, not a hairdresser nor a magician, or equipped with an extra set of eyes in the back of your head, or have a skilled friend to help you….Go to a salon and get it done. It’s worth every penny. Even if you have to sell a kidney to get it done!! Yes, I’m frustrated, and just trying to be honest. If you’re used to these sort of struggles, go right ahead. Knock yourself out, go to town. Enjoy!!
