Monster I400MKII-2M 400 Series Mark II RCA Stereo Cables (2 meters) (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

These work well in my application--I needed a 4 meter cable to connect part of a video system into my main audio rig. The cable jacket and connectors are sturdy, and the RCA plugs are indeed a snug fit. I would definitely buy these again for "all purpose" usage, given the discounted price Amazon is selling them for. They are not the ultimate in detail and refinement, but, are quite competent for what they are.

Monster cables. Sound great, are really solid and tough, but the connector sheaths are really really tight and its really hard to plug these in to a device, and even harder to unplug them, as they may break the RCA connectors on some devices because they clamp so hard. These cables messed up my sound card doing that, pulled the RCA jacks right out of the card, so make sure u got a tough device.

I owned a pair of original interlink 400 1.5m and have been very happy with them. When I rearranged my entertainment system, I needed a longer pair. I have tried other brands and even other monster interlinks and have been disappointed. When I found these online, I decided to give them a try. For the price, I have never found a better interlink cable. Sound is very detailed and balanced-qualities you usually only find in much more expensive cables. Aesthetically impressive also. These will work well in a home theater setup or dedicated audio system. Highly recommended.

Good audio cable

I bought these for my professional DJ gig and the sound that comes out of these are really really clear. The thing that makes these cables great is the isolation from electrical interference (power outlets, any power cables etc) and I personally use it from my idj-pro to a pioneer djm nexus mixer. Couldn't be happier with the build quality. One small small con for me personally is that the cables are not stuck together so i would suggest get a half dozen or dozen of velcro straps to keep things neat.

I was shopping for a stereo cable and had good success with Monster cables previously. What I received were two completely separate (but color-coded) mono cables -- I immediately sent them back for a refund. I expected a joined double cable. Amazon's photos do not clearly show that the cables are separate, nor is there anything in the detailed description about this. I already have too many cables behind my cabinets and on my floor -- why would I want two more when one double cable would suffice? Conclusion: the photos are misleading and the description is incomplete.

This company has been around a long time for a reason. Good quality cables with no distortion or feedback with a great price. Cables fit tightly and provided an excellent connection..... just exactly what I was looking for and the free shipping is always a bonus.

I wish I could say these sounded as good as a pair of "high-end" cables from Target. They sounded much MUCH worse. The entire midrange was muddy, cymbals almost nonexistent. The soundstage just seemed so one-dimensional, I couldn't believe it. The bass response didn't seem like it changed... This was hooked up to an upgraded Rega RP1 turntable with a Cambridge Audio 640P preamp to an Onkyo TX-SR706 receiver. I did A/B testing with my boyfriend around as a control, and he also noted everything I just mentioned, so it wasn't just me. I wasn't hoping for much, but I was definitely EXPECTING these to sound better.Disappointing, to say the least.I am actually surprised that you can hear a difference in RCA cables over such a short span of distance.Oh, and when I plugged one of the cables in, it broke my input plug on my receiver, so I have to use a different one now. Be aware of this when if you do end up buying these and jiggling them. In Monster's defense, they advise you to twist the plug onto the input, but, I didn't think it would be as hard as it was.Buyer beware!

This cable is the perfect length for my project with the Monster name everybody knows.
