I purchased three cameras after reading many of the good reviews on Amazon. The cameras are well built. The instructions in the box are worthless. The CD that came with only 2 of the cameras has a lot of information on it but none is useful until you get the cameras to work on Wi-Fi. If you are going to use the camera on Wi-Fi you will need to connect an Ethernet cable to the camera then to your router. Then you need to look for the IP address assigned to the camera. Once you have the IP address you can log on to the camera. It will then give you the option to load the software needed to log on to the camera. The Wi-Fi is turn off by default so you will need to go to the Wi-Fi section and enable it. This will cause the router to assign a new IP address for the Wi-Fi camera. Then you can use the additional software that is included in the CD to continue to setup the camera. This is not a user friendly installation. If you are not comfortable with login in to your router and don’t know how to find an IP address you will become very frustrated.Cons:1) The camera does not have a mic.2) Poor instructions3) The phone App is very poor and does not always work. It does not allow you to record or do anything with the camera, just view it.4) The software to view it remotely on your PC is also very limited. You cannot change the default password admin and admin.4) Product support is through email. They kept sending me the same email over and over. (How can I help you?) (I need more details) etc. After 4 emails I stopped contacting them. I even told them we can speak Chinese Mandarin and could call them. I was willing to pay for the call. But they ignored me. 5) The DNS service used to watch the camera on your cell phone is in China. I was worried that someone in China can access the camera using the DNS service. The App does not allow you to change the name or password both are admin and admin.Pros:1) Well-built camera2) Comes with mounting hardware

I bought this camera based on 5 starts review. But I noticed the reviews from people who received camera for free or discount price. The camera is well packaged. But no matter how good the packaged is, it still is useless if it doesn't work. I tired to connect the camera with my smart phone. after two and half hours tempt, I gave up. The camera just doesn't connect with WiFi. I really wish the camera could work.

I have been a loyal Amazon customer for over 10 years. This is by far the worst piece of crap I have ever come across. Pleaseee don't buy this product. I consider myself to be pretty tech savvy, but this camera is not user friendly and certainly does not qualify as wireless. Only could get the camera to function on my PC while hardwired to the Ethernet, once I unplugged it I could not get anything. Never got this contraption to work on my iPhone. This is junk, I'm sending it back!

Will not connect to router, unable to find it in the software, or any of the other 2 options they suggest. Directions are terrible, written in broken misspelled English. Support takes forever and they drug it out to the point of not being able to return it. Spend more money and buy another model! It just freezes and never shows a picture.

I like the camera but it was very difficult to set up and to date I still don't know how to record. It is easy to view live feed however again recording is difficult.

Instructions are complicated ,100 or more pages and this is not plug and play. Instructions and menus have miss spellings. I ask twice for help from their tech support, sent screen shots of messages from failed connections ... Waited a week and no one responsed. Camera software malfunctions, locks up. No choice but to return product ... If it's costs less it's junk

Absolutely does not work... I even rushed ordered it to be here on time for me to watch my house while I'm gone. Waste of money, and didn't even give a return address if needed to be refunded. Convenient..
