Q: which is better for my gun safe? Regular unscented or charcoal?

I would use the charcoal. Excellent product!

Q: I bought the Damprid charcoal 3 pack. The inner wall of 1 of the packages was broken and the particles had fallen to the bottom. Will it still work?

I also had damage in mine. I found that it still works fine if the inner tray can be lifted and propped-up enough so the liquid can accumulate on the bottom. The "dry" particles have to be in the raised tray. Hope this helps.

Q: My damp rid does not have a filter covering is this normal for the granules to be exposed?

The same thing happened with our 3-pack we ordered from Amazon. Mine have always had a cover (product purchased at a local store). When I opened this batch from Amazon, I had no idea the cover was missing, and granules spilled everywhere. Not fun to clean up. I tried a paper towel in place of the missing white cover to see if it would work... has not pulled any moisture yet, and normally it would have at least collected some moisture by now. Also put one in place as received (no cover at all), and same result: nothing. Not sure if it is an issue from the seller, or just a bad batch from the manufacturer. I have used DampRid for years and have never had this issue. It normally is an awesome product.

Q: The 3 pack 18 oz says Country of origin China, but the 300gram says USA. They are both sold from damp rid store. So where is product actually made?

I was told they are dispersed from all over. The lady told me mostly from the USA . I hope that helps. There is no filter on the 3 packs just an fyi
