Epipremnum aureum 'Neon' is also known as Scindapsus aureus, Pothos and Devil's Ivy. It is a yellow form of the traditional pothos with varying shades of chartreuse coloring throughout. This plant can grow in both low and high light conditions. Water when top one inch of soil becomes dry and keep in normal household temperatures. Hardy in zone 11 Epipremnum aureum 'Neon' Pothos is only recommended for the largest containers or terrariums. This plant will grow long and quickly take over small containers. 'Neon' Pothos will make a terrific houseplant and does well in normal household humidity and light. Epipremnum aureum 'Neon' Pothos is a vine and should be planted in the back areas of a vivarium, either directly into the background or in the substrate. When planted in the soil it will quickly grow to cover the background and hardscape. This plant has moderate water needs and will tolerate a wide variety of water conditions. It does best however, when the substrate is kept damp. It displays it's best colors under bright light but will grow just fine in dimmer lighting conditions. Epipremnum aureum 'Neon' Pothos has a vining growth habit and does not require any air circulation to thrive. It's a great plant for the naturalistic vivarium, providing egg laying and calling sites for dart frogs and is also a great plant for providing cover and a splash of color in the naturalistic vivarium Josh's Frogs recommends washing all plants thoroughly removing as much soil as possible with dechlorinated water before placing them in their final home. Live plants from Josh's Frogs are treated only with products that are OMRI Listed for use in organic production. Live plants may vary in color, size and appearance. ALL PLANTS ARE SHIPPED IN POTS WITH SOIL OR OTHER MEDIA UNLESS IT IS DEEMED NECESSARY TO SHIP BARE ROOT. The plant pictured is in a 2.5" pot.
