Strangely enought I had a large party of friends to cook for the day I received these guards. Pulling things in and out of the oven is usually an acrobatic maneuver, but not with these in place. I try very hard not to touch the oven grates, but ultimately I manage to get one or two burns. Well not this time. I am impressed at how a simple item can make my oven work so much easier.They are easy to install. Silicone is a breeze to clean so that should not be a problem, but they are not near food so you might never need to clean them. The fit is totally adjustable, there is no smell, and durability should be good because you are not touching it once in place.

WORTH EVERY PENNY!Easy to install, even easier to pull off if you need to bake something really hot, and the red color really helps us avoid the racks. Touching warm silicon is infinitely better than touching hot metal.These protected us a week after I bought them and honestly, countless times since. They do add a little lip to the racks, so you can't slide trays on and off without lifting them over it, but you get used to that very quickly.I haven't washed them yet, but they're silicon, so I expect that to be incredibly easy.Measure your racks and buy away! I love these and I would happily buy them again. They're great!

I recently purchased these oven protectors, and they have become a regular part of my kitchen setup. As someone who's always cautious about getting burnt while cooking, these protectors seemed like a good option for added safety.The protectors are easy to install and fit well on the oven racks, making the installation process straightforward. I didn’t have to trim to fit. They stay in place and don’t fall off or get loose (eg when removing pan from oven), which is reassuring. Made from heat-resistant material, they give me some peace of mind when reaching into a hot oven. Although I haven't accidentally touched the oven shelf yet, so I can’t speak to how well they protect against burns, they do withstand high heat without melting.In terms of appearance, they blend with my oven's interior (black/grey with chrome shelves), so they aren't an eyesore. However, I haven't needed to clean them yet, so I can't comment on how easy they are to clean. I hope they offer adequate protection for when I inevitably touch one of the hot shelves in my oven.Overall, these oven protectors are a decent investment for anyone looking to enhance kitchen safety. While they seem to withstand high temperatures, are durable, and fit securely, only time will tell how effective they truly are.

They work great and very easy to put on

These slide onto the rack edge easily. They get warm but will definitely keep you from burning yourself on the racks. Love these - worth the money!

I have burned my arm twice on my upper rack while taking a casserole or cake out of the oven, so when I saw these, I thought they would be great to prevent that (I never remember to move the top rack out of the way...). It came in a pack of 3, but I only needed 2 and gave the 3rd one to my best friend. It attaches easily to the front of the racks and it is easily adjustable. The material is thick enough to be durable, but flexible enough to adjust for a good fit. Though it is a rubber material, there is no smell. It looks really nice on my rack and isn't in the way.

My only gripe is there is a 480 degree tolerance. I need them for baking, which often exceeds that temperature. Otherwise it’s a great product.
