Is it broad spectrum?

It says it is on the back. It says broad-spectrum protection to the bend against UVA/UVB and environmental damage from actually flawless complexion. I personally have used two of these bottles now I absolutely love it! It smells good, is enough moisture but is also light enough see your skin doesn't feel greasy, and it just makes your skin glow. I am not ever going to use another Lotion!

Will this leave a white cast on darker skin tones?

I doubt it. It is thick, but absorbs well. However I will be honest...I will never use this brand again. My eyebrows and eyelashes began thinning and falling out altogether. I could not figure out why. Thought long and hard about what I was doing differently. The only product I changed was the face cream. Don’t you know it, I stopped using it and my eyebrows are mostly back. My eyelashes are taking much longer
