St1000dm003 this is the model number for my 1 tb seagate hard drive. is it compatible with this?

Yes but be very careful. This tool and software is powerful and if you don't follow the instructions to the letter you can make things worse. If your computer can see your drive as a letter or number there is cloning software that is easier and more forgiving to recover the drive. Check out the Linux based recovery software it's really good.

can it work with windows 10?

Yes it can but we sugest to use it on Windows 7 because Windows 10 have a lot of limitations.

will this work with a ST3000DM001 ?

Yes DfS is compatible with this HDD. There are special instructions for this drive model on page 3 of the manual. Usually this drive is repaired with the "regenerate translator " feature of DfS.
