So, it that's important to you, this may not be for you.If you're going to be outside and not around water or bad weather and/or you need to zoom, you can probably get better video resolution with a small camera like a Canon Powershot.

It is actually 3840 pixels × 2160 lines (8.3 megapixels, aspect ratio 16:9) and is one of the two resolutions of ultra high definition television targeted towards consumer television, the other being 8K UHD which is 7680 pixels × 4320 lines (33.2 megapixels). However, if you don't have a 4K television, then the 4K is kinda pointless, and you should just go with the 1080p.

Hello,You will be surprised with this little thing. It does much more than I expected. Pictures are very clear under the day light and under normal room light. When it is dark there is a lot of backround noise but hey for that price I got much more than I expected!
