Picture Keeper Connect Photo & Video USB Flash Drive for Apple, Android & PC Devices, 64GB Thumb Drive

The box I received had been opened, but I called the company and they sent me a tool to reformat the drive (just in case) and update the software on the disk. Superb, patient customer service. After a few hiccups (likely caused by me pulling the drive out with "ejecting" as recommended by the company), the drive worked wonderfully. The interface app is very intuitive and simple, with everything filed by year and specific date. My first photo "brand disk" purchase did not copy dates with photos which seems like an important thing to build into the software. Accessing the files is just as easy. The X shaped stick is solidly built (seems to be a one piece metal housing). This is just what I needed.

I have been trying to get the pictures off my phone and onto my hard drive for years. Ever since I got a new computer and the Microsoft app would not work to download the pictures, I have been trying to find another way. I had been eyeing the picture keeper and others like it and refusing to purchase due to the cost. Finally, I gave in. It was extremely easy! I transferred over 16,000 pictures and 250 videos! I have cleared up so much space on my phone.The product works as promised. The initial transfer took along time (a few hours) due to the number of photos but it did remember where it was when I had to interrupt the download and come back to it. It was faster to transfer the photos onto my external hard drive.This was definitely worth the investment!

The product worked as it should. It was easy to set up. The flash card didn't hold as much as I hoped but the device was compatible with other memory sticks. So overall it was very good

Not connecting to new Samsung A 54 at home.At the ATT store, in my area, the person did connect the Picture Keeper to my new phone, as she tried to help me with the process.I had just bought the new phone, and brought in both my new phone with the 16 Gb Photo Keeper (that's all I needed to copy my photos to back them up) and the old phone.She helped with transferring all my old photos to my new phone, because, at first, my new phone did not transfer ALL of my photos from the old phone to the new phone: the new phone only picked up ~ 1/2 of my old photos. So, she managed to extract and transfer ALL of my photos from my old phone (Samsung J7 to Samsung A 54) to my new phone.Then, we went into the Photo Keeper process on my new phone. - She only "got so far" with the process: Photo Keeper wanted to us to copy EACH photo, one at a time to the Photo Keeper.Needless to say, I'm not going to waste the person's time at the ATT store, when she was so generous to help me with my phone photo issues, and the Photo Keeper: I mentioned to her that I'll try to continue the process with Photo Keeper when I get home.So, at home, in the Google Play Store it seems to try to connect to my old phone of Samsung J7; at least that's what is listed, in the Google Play Store app.I'm done. I'm returning this very expensive gadget which seems to promise more than they deliver.I should keep my old phone which also has the old photos in it as back up...Ammended Review:A Male Customer service Rep called me earlier today. He had me list the things which I went through with the ATT Service Rep at the store, and with the issues I had when I went home, to try to load the Picture Keeper on my new phone. ( I was also having trouble with Google P.W issues, which have since been resolved: That may have something to do with some things not running properly?)The Picture Keeper Rep. first of all, asked me if the Picture Keeper was connected to my phone - it wasn't. Apparently, you plug in the Picture Keeper first - then go into the App to download your photos. So, Mea Culpa - the Picture Keeper worked beautifully.I don't know why it didn't work in the ATT store, a few days ago, and, as said, after I got home, it turned out that is was my fault when I tried to connect to the Picture Keeper App but it was a very simple fix. (As well as P.W. issues)The Picture Keeper Rep was very helpful and patient- I told him that I was ammending my previous, terrible review- to a much more favorable review.Also, as "useful" information, he noted that the Picture Keeper capacity 16 Gb was ~ 4000 photos, and, of course, videos take up more room in memory than photos, so the smallest Picture Keeper 16Gb, which is what I bought, holds quite decent amount of photos (and videos).

super easy to use. Backed up all iphone pics, videos & contacts in about 5 minutes. (It asks if this is what you want to do before performing the action.) I had 5K+photos. Would not do a 4GB video and I got message this would be resolved with future software fix. So if you have big videos make sure this will work for you. GREAT for me. I also transferred those backups to my mac and a backup harddrive.

It adapted well to the former product and picked up coping from where other item left off . Good product

I bought this for my picture keeper and it works great! The connectivity and size works great. I was able to put one end in my phone and the other two my computer and transfer all my photos without the use of different cords.Will definitely buy again if needed.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.**12/23/2024** Such a cool concept but so poorly executed. Software on this device is trash/garbage. It freezes my system and causes a hang-crash every time I plug it in and you can't get photos from device to PC.I tried going directly through the folder when plugged in, tried executing the app pre-installed which didn't work at all and tried installing the software on the PC from the website and none of these worked and failed to perform a backup of my photos onto my PC.Avoid this product unless you want to waste hours of your time trying to make this work.
