The media could not be loaded. I thought this was going to be a lot more work to install, but it was only a little more work than hanging a large painting. Luckily, the studs in the wall aligned perfectly with where the bolts needed to be - if they weren't, there would be a little more work. The kit includes a lot of hardware - including for mounting on brick wall, which I didn't need (not a complaint, just saying for those who need it). The remote works great, though you need to read the manual to understand how the memory buttons work. Its very quiet - can't really hear the motor going when its raising or lowering.We mounted a brand new Sony 65" Bravia 8 and it was a breeze. The mechanism is made of very beefy steel - much heavier than I expected. I'm confident it can support even a larger TV.One thing to expect is that it does stick out quite a bit even when fully retracted - the bottom edge of the tv is 7" from the wall. When lowered, its about 19-20" from the wall. It's also tilted down slightly - but that's fine for us - not sure if there's an adjustment if you don't want the tilt.

The install was easy but time consuming because of putting in extra electrical outlet. I am very satisfied with the mount after installation. It works flawlessly. I like that you can set two memory positions, so it lowers to the same locations without having continuously press the button to lower. All around solid construction. Very satisfied!

Won't let me return a mount that won't fit for my application. I am 8 days over my return window. Just moved houses and I got to the mount install as fast as i could. Think twice if you can't install this immediately.

Works well with 65” Bravia 8 & Sony A5000 sound bar. Lifts both- no problem. Mounting was a little tricky and I needed longer bars to reach the studs - this was not made for 19 on center studs! Buyer be aware

This worked even better than I anticipated. Take your time installing this product and it should work perfectly. The TV stores up and away, yet, we can watch it at a much smarter viewing height at our fireplace. I also used the Mount It Sonos Beam kit and everything integrated smoothly.

The mount is heavy, and it took us some time to install it because the base was a bit short. We had to add two frames for extra support. However, it was worth every penny; the quality is excellent, and it looks very nice. The remote is easy to use, although I was initially a bit confused by the two saved position features. I figured out that the “mem1” and “mem2” buttons aren't for bringing the TV to those positions, but rather for setting your favorite positions. Remember to use the “1” and “2” buttons to return to those positions.

I was looking for a mount for a TV we were planning on adding to our patio when I came across this. It checked the boxes: discrete, sturdy, and drops down. When I read that it was motorized, I didn't hesitate and clicked the "add to cart" button. I'm so glad that I did!! This thing takes our patio to next level of "wow!"I'm pretty handy when it comes to DIY things around the house so I wasn't intimidated by installing the mount. I've installed TV mounts before so I knew what I was getting into. I installed a 7/16" thick piece of OSB to the house using 6ea. 5/16" x 2.5" lag bolts into the studs behind the siding, and then I used 8ea. 1/4" x 2.5" lag bolts to bolt the mount to the OSB. Once I had the mount installed, I extended it out and grabbed hold of it and took my feet off the ladder. If it held up my 185lb frame with ease, it wouldn't have any problems with a 45lb TV.The included remote is basic, there's not much functionality of the mount. It swings down, and then back up. The TV can be angled left or right, but you have to do that by hand. I was expecting it to be handled by the mount based off the description and the fact that the remote has left and right arrows on it. One cool feature, however, is that even if I have the TV angled to the left or right, and then raise the TV, the mount moves the TV back to the "flat" position.After installation, there's roughly 8" from the wall to the TV when collapsed in the upright position.Overall rating: couldn't be happier with this mount!
