This medium is wonderful!
This Sennelier egg tempera binding medium, is a very useful medium for using, not only with egg tempera. This medium works beautifully with casein paints (that they are what I use).This medium feels smooth and if you mix it with a little water it slide softly and you can do fine details; and after two or three days it become impervious to water. Very interesting
exceeded my expectations..was nicer to use than the bottle that came with the paint kit..faster drying and the paints acquired a pearly sheen that is really nice..the colors from the underpainted areas played off the additional layers, giving the painting a look unlike gouache or regular tempera/watercolor..I like it.
