Quite a lot of shrinkage is natural for 100% cotton articles. Unless it says pre-shrunk, you need to figure shrinkage when you purchase any unshrunk cotton item. How much? Up to 20%, depending on processes used when creating the fabric. For example, natural, unbleached items will shrink more because they've never been washed and dried, but bleached or dyed items will shrink less because they've been washed and dried.

100% cotton and absorbent! Attractive! Colorful Really like them, but they shrunk quite a bit after first washing down to 20 x 11.5 inchrs.
