Can anyone tell me the dimensions when fully flat for storing?

I apologize but I cannot answer that question exactly. I bought this table for my parents and had it shipped directly to them. All I can tell you is my father is very meticulous and was very pleased at how flat it got for storage.

How do you fold it flat? I put together and it seems sturdy, but I cannot figure out how to get the two side benches to fold down?

This is exactly it. But, I too, cover it for the winter with a tarp and keep it outside. It will definitely take two or more people to fold, but it is flat, however takes up a large flat area to store folded. "Joseph, first push buttons on both center uprights, on both ends, to lower main table. After the table is down and level with the benches I flip it up on the end and push in on the brackets so the "U" shaped legs will fall in toward the table. The benches don't actually fold, the whole leg unit rotates inward and is held into place with the black plastic clip.Then the whole table will be flat. Width is 12 inches - very sturdy - have had many large guys and no problems
