A nice addition to the back patio
I've had 3 fires in it before writing the review. My previous fire pit was smaller/shallow and this has nice depth for a larger fire and it's worked well. Gives a good amount of space to build a proper starting fire setup and the cover with the metal arm are good for visual but the screen isn't going to stop a lot of the embers that float up.The look is nice, it's not a super heavy piece, the bronze finish I believe is paint but so far, it's held it's color and no visual changes or physical with cracks/peeling or anything so hopefully it's a paint that is set for high temps. I did buy a cover for it and will clean it out and maintain it unlike my last one from a different manufacturer, which was exposed to the elements and lasted about 10 years before rusting out.In all, it looks nice, it has performed as expected, so far, it's exactly as I had hoped!

Works as a gas fire pit too
I was looking for a cheaper, good-looking, and portable option for a gas fire pit, and this worked out great (see photo). The following fit inside perfectly: "Stanbroil Stainless Steel 24" Round Flat Fire Pit Burner Pan w/18 Fire Ring Installed", and you can get the latter as a kit with everything you need to hook up to gas or propane (just search around). I had to enlarge the hole at the center of the fire pit using a step drill bit (e.g., "amoolo Titanium Step Drill Bit (10 Sizes), 1/4" to 1-3/8" HSS Unibit for Metal, Wood, ..."). I also put three bricks between the base and the burner pan to elevate the rocks/logs it a bit. Everything but the logs was ~$400, but the dense realistic logs were another $500 (they are "Warming Trends MSS Mountain Split"; I was scared off of cheaper options because of foam cores and bad spells). The entire setup can easily be moved around by two people.

Easy to assemble but it feels light and thin.
The pit comes packaged well and had no damage. All parts fit together well and assembly was a breeze. Instructions are clear. My main concern is that it is very light, leading me to worry the metal may be flimsy and may not hold up. There is also no ventilation and only one tiny drainage hole that will almost certainly get clogged - of course I could drill sone additional holes myself. The size is ok, but I feel a larger pit would have been nicer. Overall it looks nice and I look forward to trying it out over the coming weeks.

Good looking fire
Love the look. Quality design and materials. I had to buy a metal grate to elevate the wood for air circulation and to avoid burning out the bottom. Their is only one drain hole (not sure if that's good or bad). Clever design feature is that the whole bowl can be easily removed from the frame for cleaning. Might be on the higher end of the price range in this category, but seems worth it so far.
