Although pricey, I do notice a significant improvement over using the ceramic heat deflectors in both temp control and smoke. This is a brilliant component and love that for a fraction of the cost of the series 3, I can add the most important advancements of the line to the far cheaper Series 1! I'm in love!

I am so glad I got this. It imparts a wonderful smoky flavor for beef, chicken, pork, etc. I would strongly advise, however, not to smoke fish on it because it rolls the heat up onto the fish and cooks so much faster than you’re used to. It was good but it was cooked too quick and made it dry out just a little. But for other meats, it’s perfect.

I cooked a brisket with the slow roller and it was the best brisket that I had ever had! I highly recommend getting this for your Kamado Joe!!

This is amazing. I waited forever to buy this since it was never in stock. The SLO-Roller is worth the wait. It is easy to use. Assembly is intuitive. Really. It creates even heat distribution and envelops the food with flavorful smoke. I tried ribs, chicken and sausage and all have been amazing. It does sit higher than I thought it would, but the performance is top notch.
