What type of lighter fluid is best... lamp oil, kerosene? Any types of fluids that should be avoided?

You can use kerosene but the best thing to use is a clean burning lamp or oil

How would this work with a woodstove? Every image is a fireplace and the item left in. Doesn't the handle get too hot to take out of a woodstove?

It works well in my woodstove. I put it in the left corner and close the door as far as I can, with part of the handle sticking out. I leave it about 15 minutes until it burns itself out and the wood is burning. The handle doesn't get too hot.

I have the pot but need to replace the wand with the ceramic stone. Would this be available stand alone?
