No, this has a rounded bottom, not intended for piercing.

Advice on how to get it out?

Unfortunately, you just need to pull it out. It’s not pleasant.

Do I have to have it put in by a professional?

No you do not. I clean with hydrogen peroxide and use a bit of antibiotic ointment on the end and gently rotate into piercing. Be patient. . It might hurt a bit , not pain, it will go through piecing and stay nicely in place until you remove.

Easy to insert

I had my noise pierced 2 months ago with a labret that was too big. It really bothered me, and even cut into my septum causing it to bleed. I went back to my piercer to have it replaced with a smaller one, but instead she put a larger one in. I'm new to this, so I just went with her recommendation. It finally seemed healed enough to replace it myself, so after doing a lot of research, I ordered the 6mm 20g bone and it feels so much better. I was afraid it would be hard to insert bc of other reviews, but it wasn't bad at all. I'm very happy with it!

Ni mala ni muy buena. (Esperaba que fuera más brillante)

Está chida pero tiene la bolita de atrás un poco grande, tuve que desgastarla con unas pinzas no brilla mucho el oro pero pues está bien. Recomendaría comprar la 2mm ya que no es muy chica ni muy grande.

The standard size is larger than expected.

Stone protrudes a lot for the standard size. It doesn't sit flat. I can't speak to any discomfort with inserting as I had just changed out the original cork screw from when I got it pierced which was quite painful. I haven't had any pain fo4 discomfort from this ring. I just dont like how large it is. It looks of good quality, but I havent had it for long.
