Water Pump Kit Fit For Johnson Evinrude 40/45/48/50 HP Outboards 18-3454 433548 433549 777805 438592

Everything in this water pump kit was identical to the original pump in my 1989 Evinrude 48 spl and went together easily. The only thing I didn't use was the new bolts because they were about a 1/8" shorter than the one's holding the pump down originally so I reused the original bolts and put a little blue threadlocker on the bolts. I will be buying another kit or two to have on hand instead of going to a boat dealer and paying over $80 for a pump kit.

I have a 50 hp Johnson outboard that no one wants to work on because, it’s too old.Definitely was the right fit and not to hard to do. With the help of a solid YouTube video easy peasey!

The kit looks quality and identical to the parts I removed but the plastic wedge key they sent is not the right size. Probably just packaged the wrong peice with the kit but I bought this month's ago and am just getting around to using it so I have to source a key now.

The replacement impeller was not recessed for the o-ring that is below the impeller and flattened it and burnt the impeller. Took it apart reinstalled without o-ring and very little water. I am going to request a refund, they need to check there machining it is not machined for the o-ring. I have installed many water pumps and never had a problem like this,
