If you only need one speed, any 12v DC power supply or battery can be used. If you need other speeds, use a variable 12 to 36 volt DC power supply.

Dc voltage used, power ranges from 7-32 in my experience

Can i supply 24 V to the motor?

So long as you use dc, it should be fine, I have ran it up to 42v dc, I wouldn’t recommend it though

Will this work as 36v with two 18v batteries attached?

If you have them wired correctly, yes. You can wire it for 18v and get more endurance or for 36v and get more power. Your call there.
