Worked good for lifting the bed off of sport trac to get to the fuel tank

The unit I recieved had some of the issues others had reported on. None of which can't be overcome.First was the packaging, not very good. Hoist came a bit banged up but a couple minutes with a pair of pliers got it acceptable.Second was a bit more challenging. The lift chain would only go up or down a few inches. This was due to the lift chain having a twist in it at the point where it "anchors" to the hoist. Easy enogh to rectify, loosen nuts that hold the two halves together and take out the twist.While the side covers were off was a good time to grease the inside mechanisms. Overall I'm happy with puchase, not sure I'd trust lifting 2000#'s with it. I plan on using mine to lift and store a snow cab off my garden tractor, for that it should work just fine. For the money it seems like a good enough unit.

Pure garbage. Used one time and now pull chain keeps locking up. Do not buy

I pull semi engines at 6000lbs easily. It’s a little slower than smaller hoists, but it does an excellent job.

Great product use it to hang hogs and works wall

Bought this from the "scratch and dent " part. Have always wanted one but never wanted to spend the money. This was on sale for $40. Gave it a chance and there was one small nut missing and the chain to raise and lower it was jammed. It took me all of 30 seconds to fix it. The box it was delivered in had slight damage. It works great just like it is supposed to..

I'll say that they do the job, but they are far from smooth, very rough in it's operation. I bought two and they continue to do the job but I would have expected a much smoother operating hoist.
