Great Device.
Really great product for my allergies. I would take it with me to use at work, put on my desk, night stand by my bed, or in the car. Felt a big difference, and stopped using allergy pills with this portable device. I would recommend to anybody.

Even Helps Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Sufferers
I love this air purifier! It’s the best thing that I’ve purchased in a long time. It only takes up the space of a travel mug; therefore it fits into the cup holder of my car. It’s small enough to fit in my purse next to my stainless steel water bottle. I take it everywhere! I try to look cool when I hold it, as if I’m sporting a chic travel mug (Especially since I don’t drink coffee.)How I use my Wynd. Whenever I go anywhere in public, I pull it out of my purse and turn it on. Depending on the surrounding noise, I turn it up as loud as it can go without being annoying. I’d say it ranges from a soft purr to as loud as a hair dryer. But the soft purr—the lowest setting—is strong enough when aimed directly at my face, about a foot away, to give me the fresh air I need. I use the Wynd to direct fresh air at my face or to aim bad smells away from me.I have multiple chemical sensitivities. While some scent particles are too small to be filtered by the Wynd (therefore they do go right through the filter), I can use the Wynd to blow them away from me. I have noticed that when I come across smells that make me sick (flulike symptoms and all), having fresh air blown into my face helps immensely. Sometimes I will discreetly aim my Wynd at the offending person to blow the scent away from me and back at them. One of my lesser symptoms includes a horrifically itchy nose. This usually occurs from people wearing clothes soaked in fabric softener or by being around people who are pet owners. As soon as my nose starts up, I hold Wynd right under my nose, and in a little as a few seconds, my nose stops itching. (Wynd works great for pollen and dander.)I’ve even taken Wynd to the theater. And thank heavens I did. The poor soul next to me was coughing the whole time (the horror!). I balanced my Wynd on my lap, using my coat and scarf to support it and aimed fresh air right at my face the whole movie. I didn’t end up sick.I’ve had an occasion to run my Wynd after burning something in my oven. Smoke stunk up the house. The burnt smell was awful. I ran Wynd in my personal space while I worked, and it did a great job at filtering the smell.Other than being an air purifier, it has other redeeming qualities. It’s a great portable fan for hot days. Perfect for menopausal women who get hot flashes. Sweaty pits? No problem. Aim Wynd Essential where the moisture is gathering, and you’ll be dry in no time. The ring of light at the top, which can be turned off, makes an impromptu flashlight or a light to hold under your chin when telling scary stories. And often I use my Wynd as a pretend microphone, to sing obnoxiously and embarrass my children.Several of my friends have asked about my Wynd, wondering if it is an Alexa. That’s how cool it looks with its glowing ring at the top and sleek cordless design. So I named mine Lexa. My kids groan every time I ask them to bring me Lexa.Cons. The stand to tilt my Wynd broke in about a month. It’s a cheap plastic bit. I don’t miss it. The on/off button sometimes gets hit by accident. (It’s in a place where I tend to hold my Wynd.)Otherwise—The Wynd is easy to use! Love it!

Perfect for travel
Overall this is a great air purifier. I travel for work and spend a lot of time in hotel rooms. You never know who has been in that hotel room before you and even though it may look nice, that hotel may be an older hotel. I always end up with a stuffy nose and scratchy throat after spending a week in hotel rooms. Wynd has solved that problem.Wynd is quiet at the low setting, yet creates the perfect white noise at higher settings. I love that there’s not just 2 or 3 settings. You turn the top of the purifier to get at least 15 different settings. There is a night light, but you can turn it off, unlike almost all the other purifiers in this category. Most importantly, it works. I have used it for 2 weeks now in different hotel rooms and I always wake up refreshed and feeling great. The filter is easy to change and they are not very expensive. Once you download the Wynd app, you can connect to your purifier via Bluetooth and you can control your purifier and check filter life.Yes it is on the expensive side, but there’s no other purifier in this category that comes close to the size, features and how well Wynd works. Last thing to be tested is durability as I have only had this 3 weeks. It seems to be made really well so I’m looking forward to using it for a long time.

Portable and lightweight..
I am returning this item because it only stays charged for three hours I would be quite happy with the purifier if the charge lasted eight hours like it said it should.I hoping this one was defective and I get better results from the next one I order.

My personal fortress of solitude
As an adult suffering from allergies and other related respiratory ailments , I thought it was time for me to really analyze the air I breathe and ensure that it is healthy for me. So when I came across the Wynd Essential Mini Air Purifier, I was immediately impressed by the concept of being able to control what I breathe in everywhere I go. The Wynd purifier is very simple to use, One button powers it on and you twist the top to adjust the level of air filtration you desire. On the lowest settings, you will barely believe the device is on but on its highest settings, it is a mini white noise machine (which helps me sleep like a baby so that falls in the plus column for me) It paired with my phone without any issues and allows me to ability to control the Wynd remotely including being able to turn off the bright light on top of the unit when you are trying to sleep (this can also be done on the unit itself by hitting the Auto button twice) The app also gives you a filter life monitor so you will know when it's time to replace it. Filters pop in really easy like popping in a fresh battery on a flashlight. The essentials does not come with the air tracker of the plus model, so I can't attest to its capability nor does the auto mode on the device seem effective without it. The effective range is limited, but as long as you can keep it within a few feet of you, the air that it puts out feels cool and refreshing. As a Lyft driver, I love keeping this device running in my cup holder to circulate clean air inside my car cabin (without having to open the windows) It comes with a stand to tilt and point the Wynd in your direction however, the stand can bit flimsy as it topples over very easily. The price point may scare some away but, you get a quality product that will get the job done well as long as you don't push the device past its intended scope. I would look elsewhere if you need a more stationary solution or need to clean large amounts of air in a big space. Overall, I'm very pleased with the Wynd purifier and gladly recommend it to others with its unparalleled portability and performance.Pros:Fresh air wherever you areGreat battery lifeFunctional companion smartphone app with useful featuresFilters are easy to change and are relatively inexpensive ($12.50)USB-C chargingEssentials model is much cheaper than the Plus (excludes air tracker)Cons:Pricey considering you can buy bigger purifiers for cheaperLimited scope of effectivenessFlimsy standA little noisy at maximum settingsAuto mode/ AQI app features ineffective without the tracker in the Plus model
