Visually appealing and functional
I love that these are red to match my kitchen, and round. I don't find squared measuring cups or spoons visually appealing. However, the BEST part of these spoons is the METAL handle. Don't get me wrong, these are very lightweight and don't seem terribly durable. However, having the size of the spoon engraved on a metal handle means the measurements don't wear off! THAT is why we purchased two sets of these. We use measuring spoons so often we wear off measurement labels that are only stuck on.

IKEA Quality Without Walking Through Their Maze
These are great spoons, it's our 3rd set, but this time I didn't have to drive to IKEA, walk through their maze-like showroom and wait in line.What we particularly like is that the spoon size is engraved on the metal handle, unlike painted numbers that are eventually worn away.
