Smatree Portable Carrying Case for DJI Osmo Mobile Handhold Gimbal and Accessories(Not fit for DJI Osmo Mobile 2)

Absolutely LOVE this case!!! Take out the foam from the original packaging (carefully lift it out of the original box)...place into the Smatree D300 case and voila...a perfectly fit customized case for your DJI Osmo Mobile! The exterior of the Smatree is somewhat hardened which really as protection to your Osmo Mobile. There is a small zipper pouch in the "lid" which we store a dual-charger and charging cable. The original foam packaging has enough room to hold two batteries as well as the gimbal.No complaints whatsoever...

You will need the original foam insert from your DJI Osmo Mobile box if you want to use this carrying case. The OEM foam insert fits perfectly into this case to give you a tight fit for your gimbal. What sold me on this model was the zipper pouch on the inside of the top cover for storing your accessories. I store an iPhone 5se, an iPhone lightning cable, the DJI proprietary charging cable and a micro USB cable in that pocket. I wish the pocket was divided right down the middle so all the accessories don't slide around. The case also has a hand strap and carabiner loop so you can hold or attach the case to your luggage or backpack. If the zipper storage area was divided in half, this would have been the perfect Osmo Mobile case for me. With that missing feature, it's still a solid and reasonably priced hard case for storing the Osmo Mobile.

This fits the Osmo Mobile 2 - so long as you keep the original foam insert that came with the units original packaging.It will hold the unit and charging cable. I bought the mini tripod when I purchased the unit. I put the tripod in the vacant slot beside the unit fitting and the power cable in the zipped pocket in the cover. It was extremely tight, but zippable with effort. So, I carefully removed the foam lid that came with the original unit packaging and saved it in case I needed to use the entire foam case again later. It now zips cleanly with the Osmo Mobile 2, the tripod AND the charge cable, no issues.

The quality of this case didn't disappoint. It's sturdy, zipper works well, comes with a small carabiner so you can attach it i.e. to your backpack if you ever need to.As others have called out, it doesn't come with the foam insert cut out for Osmo - you have to either re-use the one your DJI Osmo Mobile came with, or use it without one, as a single, large pocket. Skipping the foam has one more advantage - you can store your Osmo without the need to fold it completely and calibrate the center of weight for your phone each time.And without the foam insert, the case can store number of handy items along with the Osmo, which makes for a quite complete set. I'm keeping the official DJI Osmo base, a 10k mAh power bank (my phone runs out of charge way faster than Osmo), selfie stick (a generic one, not from DJI) and 2 charging cables (phone, Osmo).While the case is a bit larger than the DJI pouch Osmo comes with (see photo for comparison), it's not bulky and makes for a very practical storage option for convenient shooting on the go.

There is no doubt it is a nice case , since the Q/A said it works for Osmo mobile 2 , some review also said that , so I bought it , but actually it does not fit Osmo mobile 2, and it does not worse to send it back either for the price.Update:I have to cut my nice original DJI foam case on the edge to fit it into the case. it actually works, but not ideally.

Fits perfectly. I used to carry the entire original packaging to protect my osmo, which takes a lot of time to remove it from package. I removed the foam cut out from the DJI original packaging and placed it in this case. Its lot easier and hassle free now to carry and use my Osmo mobile.

Perfect, affordable carry case option for my Osmo Mobile. The case comes empty but is perfectly sized to take the die-cut foam from the cardboard DJI box and be inserted. Provides far more protection that the carry pouch DJI provides.

Great product. Pretty good value. Just keep in mind this is for the Osmo Mobile ONE and you need the original foam from the retail packaging to use as an insert. Because of that there isn't a ton of protection on the opening flap side or room for lots of non-OEM accessories. Doesn't feel/look like a premium product but otherwise not bad at all overall.
