Good taste.
Expensive but the grandkids say it tastes just like the ones at Disney. Worth seeing them enjoy them.

Super Delicious
I Just got my order and I'm ready to place a reorder. The waffles came out so light and taste soo delicious!!! I'm so glad i decided to purchase this waffles mix. The waffles taste better than any other waffles I've ever tasted in my life. It's a must have.

Makes excellent waffles and pancakes, bit pricey
Update: I found this waffle mix in large foil envelopes on Amazon. They are much more reasonably priced, and frankly, it's easier to dig out the mix from a large envelope than the cans. And you don't have to worry about the can once it's empty. The foil envelopes are a much better deal.Whenever we travel, one of my criteria is the restaurant must have a complimentary breakfast and waffle maker. I enjoy making waffles when travelling. I've noticed on a regular basis that the machines have a sticker on them that say "Golden Malted" so I know the brand I like. The waffles are always crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and flavorful.Well, when I saw this can on Amazon, I immediately ordered it. I have a professional style waffle maker I bought from Amazon many years ago. So, I made two batches -- one for my wife who prefers pancakes, and one for me for waffles. I have to share some of my results:Double the recipe realistically for even two of you if you'd like a couple left over, or if you are cooking for a couple kids. Use two cups of mix, two eggs, and 1 and 1/4 cups fat free milk for both pancakes and waffles. If you use more than that you're going to have watery pancakes and waffles. Also, don't add the melted butter until you've mixed the milk and batter together or it will clump due to the cold milk.We use half cups of batter and they make nice sized smaller pancakes or full waffles. Are they expensive? Yes, you could get a cheaper brand, but these really have that "golden malted" flavor you only find from this brand. Kind of makes me feel I'm on a weekend vacation. Highly recommended.

Good, but not very sweet
This makes very yummy waffles, but we had to add some vanilla because they're not very sweet. I think the baking soda in it makes it kind of bitter? A bit of vanilla helps tremendously. They puff up nicely in the waffle maker and crisp and brown just like a professional waffle maker in the hotel makers do.

Convenient and tasty, but...
This mix made VERY good waffles, and was easy to make. That being said, it is kind of expensive. It made 8 waffles, and took an egg per waffle (8 eggs for whole can). Unfortunately, I have not found anything that is any better, so these are reserved for special days.

Just Not It
I've tried the mix approx a year ago after having the waffles at a hotel which were great. When I tried then, they were ok, not nearly as good as the hotels etc and not nearly worth the cost. I just tried the new branded version here and it was worse than the 1st time. I've tried 4 different mixes over the past couple of months and believe it or not Krusteaz was better to me than all of them. Reminded me of the hotel waffles although not quite that good of course but quite good. Golden was the worse?? The texture was there...golden brown and crispy on the outside and moist on the inside but flavor bland. I've followed the instructions and even added some vanilla for more flavor...didn't work. Open to suggestions?

Just like the hotel!!!
I've been a chef for years and this mix is the same brand I used. The resealable can makes Sunday morning waffles easier than you can imagine, and the waffles come out as crisp and light, and fluffy (if you have a flip waffle iron especially) as any restaurant will offer. The Golden Malted brand tastes better than ANY waffle mix on your grocer's shelf. If you travel, and have had the breakfast buffet with the great waffles, there's a good chance that this is the brand they use. It's a little more costly, but the quality is so high. I highly recommend.
