Not what they used to be
What a disappointment! My mom grew up in PA and I've been eating these chocolate cupcakes anytime I could get my hands on them for the last 60+ years. The recipe has definitely changed. The icing is a different consistency and rather bittersweet.This is not the fault of the seller - they were delivered quickly and were extremely fresh. But that could not make up for the fact that these are not the same anymore.I'm glad the Butterscotch Crimpets are still unchanged and still worth buying so there is still something to bring back old memories. Online Grocery Outlet does a fantastic job of delivering fresh Tastykake.
