Halo Holistic Dry Cat Food for Kittens, Chicken and Chicken Liver Recipe, 3 LB Bag of Natural Kitten Food

I was a big fan of halo brand, but not any more. When I changed my kitten's food to halo 7 months ago, soon I noticed her coat was more shiny, her poops looked healthier. She likes the food too. I got 3 lb bag from amazon last Sunday because it's all sold out at local petco and petsmart. The next day, I gave her food from the new bag, she started vomiting so bad, everything she ate, food, water, bile during whole night. I took her vet to check if she accidentally ate foreign body or anything toxic. X ray didn't find anything. Also I remember 2nd last bag I also got amazon had slightly different color from the previous bag from petco. I fed her halo over 7 months, 12 lbs in total, but she never had any problems. I don't know whether I got a wrong batch or they changed the formula. I was planing to move her food to halo adult food soon, but I don't want to feed her halo brand any more. I don't want to hurt my cat. also I don't want to spend another $500 for x ray.

My cats tried this for the first time just a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, none of the 3 liked it enough to eat more than a couple of bites. When I got home from work, they hadn’t touched their food since breakfast. My cats are a tad bit finicky, but all 3 walked away from their bowls. Needless to say, they were starving when I got home. I even tried mixing it with their treats, but they fished out the treats and ignored the food. What can I say, but…cats…. Sadly, I won’t be buying again.

We received two 3lb bags of the Halo Kitten Food that we have been buying for while. Both of the 3 lb. bags were not chicken and chicken liver. I think it was all liver or if not, it was spoiled. It had a strong metal smell to it. The granules were dark brown and not the regular light brown. I ordered the first bag and asked for a replacement. The second 3 lb bag was exactly the same. I ordered the larger bag and it was correct.

My kitten stopped diarrhea after taking it for a few days. He has been having a bad stomach on Royal Kitten cat food. I have searched a lot of products and only this cat food has brought him back to normal.

My kitten likes to munch on this. He doesn’t love it as much as his Fresh Pet wet food and I prefer to give food high in moisture content because he’s a neutered male indoor kitten but this is a good snack to clean his teeth.
