For the life of me I can't figure out what the attraction of these pads is -- they look so . . . ordinary -- but all four of our cats love them. They lounge on top of them and underneath them, play with toys hidden under them. They have gone through a bunch of Purr Padds, finally smashing them flat and tattering the edges. They still sleep on them but after a while tufts of Purr Padd get torn loose and scattered around the house.Some advice: The white pads show dirt much more quickly than the gray. The cats don't care but some cat owners might not appreciate the soiled pads in their house. I've never tried to wash them.

I took a chance and ordered these for my dogs, I don’t have any cats. I couldn’t find many reviews for dog owners, so I thought I would share my experience. I recognize that the product makes no claims about dogs so I knew I was taking a gamble. I have 5 dogs -3 chihuahuas who are notoriously cold, and 2 medium sized dogs. I have a shedding situation and the hair capture claims intrigued me.Results and Review:The texture is scratchy and strange and clumps regularly come off, after only a few days of use. I find clumps all over the place. I haven’t washed the mats but I can foresee a big mess in the washer and lint catcher. Maybe this won’t be the case given the other reviews, but I am skeptical about their longevity.I haven’t seen any evidence of hair collection on the mats or a reduction of hair on other surfaces. One of my dogs has light, fluffy, semi-catlike hair so I was hoping for positive results. She doesn’t use the mats though so I’m sure that makes a big difference. I just have my doubts that this product attracts the hair out of the air like some reviews claim. That being said, I don’t deal with floating cat hair and maybe I don’t have them placed well.The mats claim to trap heat and provide warmth so I thought my chihuahuas would like them. None of the little dogs lay on them, so that’s a bust. I have one short haired, 30 pound dog that seems to like the mats. She hasn’t been forthcoming on the warmth or feel of them so I can’t tell you why. She does fit well on them though when she curls in a ball so I imagine the size would be more than adequate for cats.It would be great if more cat and dog owners would share if their dogs liked the mats, because this is admittedly a small sample size. In my experience though, I would not recommend purchasing them for dogs, or for their hardiness, or for their amazing hair catching abilities.

A real treat for my feline companions. Was happy to find them on Amazon and have them delivered to my door. There's two In the package incase your cat doesn't like to share, or if they do share there an extra pad when the first wears out. Believe me, there is someone on it at all times and with the kneeding the pads get the do tend to look pretty worn after a time.

My kitties fight over these. They really are magic cat attractors.. But they love them so much, they are torn up in a matter of weeks. So a bit expensive for as long as they last.

All the cats I've ever had seem to like this, for whatever reason. From a human standpoint, I don't think it looks or feels very comfortable....but they like it and that's all that matters. I feed a stray cat and I set one of these purr pads out for him due the to the cold weather and have found him sleeping on it a couple of times. I will agree that it does not seem to be as thick and durable as they used to be, but as long as the cats like it I'll keep using it.

I have used these for many years for my cat. Last two orders were not same quality as past. Cat still loves it but this shreds much easier than past orders. Price has increased but quality has decreased. Now has to be replaced much sooner due to material shredding. Disappointing.

I love Purr pads, they're an absolute WIN. Cat would sleep on my PILLOWCASE (barf), and had no interest in typical cat beds... got a pack of Purr pads on a whim and have never looked back. I put one on the bed... NOT ON MY PILLOWCASE, and kitteh LOVED it, and then one in her hiding spot in the back of the closet. <3

I love this product! With four cats you can imagine it might be hard to please them all, and many times I find myself purchasing products for them that they like for awhile, but then lose interest in them later. This is NOT the case with these "Mysterious Purr Pad Cat Cushions"!We purchased four Purr Pads, one for each cat, and they absolutely LOVE them! We have no idea why, but they are just drawn to them like a magnet, and sleep on them several times a day. Although my furry ones get along with each other, at nap times, sometimes they would wrestle one another to obtain their favorite sleeping arrangements, which sometimes created a little friendly friction in the home. To help remedy this (and to help promote world peace!) we placed Purr Padds scattered throughout. They like the Purr Padds so much, that they have now minimized their world domination efforts, and now we have our own little utopia, since each cat is just eager to sleep on a "Purr Padd" they just kind of find another Purr Padd. Harmony restored! : )We have found other uses for our "Purr Padds too. One of my cats insists on sleeping on my chest while I try to sleep, (notice the cumulative word, "try") It is super cute, and I love him to pieces, but he weights 20 lbs (special cat breed) and I just could not get a good night sleep. I put a Purr Padd on the edge of the bed next to me, and he now sleeps on that at night....he's next to me..... I can breathe.... Everyone is happy! : )Also, recently my furry ones started realizing that when the carrier came out, going into the carrier and going to the vet were synonymous. (It became a game of hide and seek ten minutes before I had to leave for the vet's office...) I started to place a Purr Padd in the bottom of the carrier, now my cats pretty much go right in the carrier with ease. Problem solved!I can only speak about my experience... but any product that does what it says and much more is definitely something I want to get the word out on......I found these an excellent value and very practical for our family! : )

We got two of these for our stray cat that has been coming to our place for two years. We have one on our back porch for daytime and one in our garage for the night time and the bad weather in the winter. We can't bring him in our home because we have two indoor cats. After taking the stray to the vets the testing came back , he has feline leukaemia. So we are trying our best to make him happy outside.These heaters are terrific and provide warmth and comfort to our dear stray (named Tom). We highly recommend these and the shipping was very quick!

excellent product, we use it for bedding for out neighbourhood 4 winter cats in our outdoor backyard winter and summer cat shelter. add in a little torn newspaper and cats are happy happy happy . also very to sew together to another pad for extra coverage. a definite recommend to friends

Pues así que digamos uy que bárbaros que buen producto pues no. Es similar al relleno de un cojín. A mi gatita en particular no le fascina. Y pues en conclusión me parece que puedes ahorrarte y comprar algo que ya tenga funda para poder lavarla.

El pack incluye 2 pads. Es ideal para colocarlo en sillones, muebles, sus camas o gimnasio de gatos. Parece ser cálido y les encanta a mis 2 gatos.
