Love this!
Great little omelette maker! It took 8 minutes rather than 5 - this was based on making two. First was 2 x egg and spinach, and then a Spanish omelette (2 x egg, cheese, ham, spring onion and spinach). They turned out perfectly, fluffy and we thought the size was fine. They didn’t need oil and came out easily with a plastic spatula. Barely anything to clean afterwards either! This is going to get a lot of use in our house whilst dieting.

This one is the egg cooker you need. Don’t bother considering cheaper models.
This isn’t my first egg cooker. The one I already own has served me well, but it was missing (what I now realise are essential features), a timer and a buzzer. So my round little friend has now been handed to my cousin (it will be her first egg cooker too), and this Salter upgrade has taken its place in my kitchen. The immediate improvement is in time.My old one worked splendidly, so much so I haven’t boiled a pan of water for eggs in about 4/5 years, but where it fell down was meal planning. You would sit the eggs in it, measure the correct volume of water for soft/medium/hard boiled eggs, and then wait. When would it be ready? Nobody ever knew. Additionally, if you left the kitchen to do other things, it didn’t make a noise when it was done, simply turned itself off. This new one works by time, not volume of water poured into it. And it dings when it’s ready, then switches itself off.So when I’m needing eggs, I can see on the digital counter how long they have left, and plan other items (such as toast/muffins etc.) to be hot and ready when the eggs are.You don’t need to measure amounts of water for soft/medium/hard etc. You just fill the measuring cup to the same measure for everything, then dial in the time (printed on the front of the machine) for the results you desire. It’s been spot on everytime, whether I’m doing 2 eggs or 6.Most of these devices come with some type of poaching/Omlette tray, and this does too. I’ll be honest, I haven’t used it yet. I have 2 smaller poaching cups from my late mother’s egg poaching pan, and I use them. They fit nicely inside the machine and when turned out, remind of my childhood breakfasts. One more thing of note, I have a small kitchen and like to put things away when I’ve used them to free up counter space. My previous egg cooker was round, and just about fit in the front of my baking cupboard. This one is rectangular and sits snuggly away from the edge of the shelf, so I’m no longer worried it will fall out when I open the door to grab something. This kit is great value for money and produces great tasting consistently perfectly cooked eggs. It feels well put together and is very easy to clean.

Simple effective little gadget.
This is such a handy little gadget. It makes perfect size omelettes which turn out light and fluffy. I would say 2 whisked eggs per compartment. It takes a few minutes to warm up, just enough time to prepare the ingredients. And it’s ready in no time.No fussy programmingEasy to useEasy to cleanSmall to store.Would recommend

The Perfect Egg Cooker
Tried every device imaginable to make poached eggs. This beauty makes perfect poached eggs and has the added bonus of making boiled egg's and a small omlette. It's timer controlled so no need to watch over it. Easy to use once you've read the instructions once, simple to clean and compact in size. Highly recommended this product.

Easy to use
This is such a great little gadget if you make eggs and omelettes often. I struggle to cook omelettes properly on the hob but this is so easy. It heats up super quick and you can use it to pre-cook omelette fillings first before pouring eggs in. I can only fit 3 eggs between both sides if using fillings or 2 eggs in each side for fried eggs but that's perfect for me. I absolutely love it and it makes life much easier. I wasn't sure if I'd use it much but if anything I cook eggs more now. Would recommend.

Better than expected!!!
I got this after returning the Daewoo version, the lid was wobbly, the coating was rough, with bits that felt like they could come off into your food. This on the other hand is smooth Teflon coated, easy to clean. It is very shallow and you have to be careful not to overfill.I used two eggs,a bit of milk and grated cheese and filled this one and a half times.I did find that it completely cooked the bottom side anyone top was still white, therefore after 6 minutes or so I had to turn them an cook for another 3 to 4 minutes to get the finished product. The size of the omelette is enough for one person, the taste is good .Design wise be warned that the whole item gets pretty hot during use,I would not advise trying to clean it immediately after use, but tolet it cool first.Overall compared to the frying pan it’s an improvement on that there is less diameter to turn and looks more appetising than my frying pan efforts.Worth getting if you’re like me and like your kitchen gadgets, this one won’t be gathering dust.

Not as big as you think
Ok it works, BUT it’s not extra large it’s quite small the omelettes only cook on the bottom you have to turn them over to cook all the way through. It’s clean and doesn’t stick (so far). This is the only problem with buying things on Amazon you can’t see what you’re buying until you’ve bought it.I will use it as it’s not greasy and the eggs are tasty without any oil but if I saw it first and saw how small it is I would have stuck to my old frying pan

Great egg boiler
Great investment, saves so much time and mess, was able to boil 18 eggs and pickle them in rapid time. It's best to either hot water from the go or run it for 5 mins to preheat it if you want fully hard boiled eggs.
