Strong, easy to assemble, Exoterra alternative
This stand is great, it did exactly what I expected it to do, although I did expect my tank to fit a bit differently. This frame was the only stand I could find as a strong, cheaper stand for the Exoterra 24x18x18 tank (the actual exoterra stand being $250+) and I guess I assumed it to fit “perfectly” based on some reviews (my fault) so I provided some pictures to hopefully give you an idea! It does fit securely. The depth of the tank fits exactly (and there are bars underneath as well) so the tank is supported, but there is extra room on either side so that may bother some people. Another thing to mention is there is no type of lip. If you have a heavy tank this likely isn’t an issue, but if you bumped the stand pretty hard with a lighter tank on it, you could potentially knock it off.I have seen some reviews of issues with the holes lining up oddly, but I did not have that experience. Many people, and the directions, also recommend 2 people, but I am 3 months pregnant and fairly independent (see: impatient) and I was able to put the stand together myself in about an hour - that included having to take one side apart because I..uh.. put one side on upside down. The directions are lacking a bit, but it is easy to figure out in my opinion. Just make sure when you are attaching the sides that you face the gold-rimmed holes to the bottom - this is where the tiny feet will go to lift it about 1” off the ground. Also, there are 4 craft foam-like dots and I initially put them on the frame, but these actually go on the bottom of the legs to help not scratch the floor. Lastly, this is a coated metal so you’ll want to be careful of not scraping it across the floor when putting it together. I did not find any noticeable damage when I received the item or after putting it together. Overall would recommend if you don’t want to spend the money on a more expensive stand. It still looks nice, is sturdy, and will get the job done!

Well designed and very sturdy
Quality stand! Very easy to assemble and simply rock solid. The weld joints are perfect and the design is very open and symmetrical, allowing for some customization if needed. To the manufacturer - If there was one thing I would consider offering as an add-on, it would be a removable shelf for the lower section. Not a solid shelf, but something similar to the top that simply lays on/hooks over the lower frame pieces. Just like the grill on a barbecue grill in appearance and function, but made of the same heavy-gauge steel tubing as the rest of the stand.Edit - Realized I never showed the final setup. Added 3 "off the shelf" shelves (2 @ 12"x24" and 1 @ 8"x24"). Rubbermaid black laminated shelves sold @ HomeDepot. The fit is perfect on the width, 24" is a little long for the depth, so I just let them hang out past the frame on the backside because of allowed clearance from the wall. To keep them from sliding, they are secured to the frame via 3M command strips. The "front facing panels are two cheapest of the cheap door mats. Rib-it Charcoal 18" x 27". They are held in place to the frame via magnets that were hot glued to the backs of the mats. An inexpensive quick access, lightweight but durable hidden shelf system.

Easy to assemble!
This was so easy to assemble, my husband put it together in less than 30 minutes, and I heard NO grumbling at all either! LOL! In fact, he commented several times about how easy and straightforward it was. It's also SOLID, and perfectly designed to serve its purpose, which for us is holding our 40 gallon lizard vivarium. Our beardie loves his new home in the living room, and we love having him where we can see him and more easily feed him too! The design doesn't look too industrial either. Overall, a great purchase, and for the price, can't be beat! One tip: If you want to be able to easily move your set-up around, either to clean the floor or just to service it in some way, consider doing what we did and put self-adhesive sliders under each adjustable foot (zoom in on photo, you can see them). They make them for carpet and wood floors, and make it easy to just push the whole set up without disturbing the tank itself. Worth it, because once full, and installed on top of the stand, you really won't be able to move the set up around if you need to.

It is very sturdy and strong
This metal tank stand is made from pressed steel into square bars that are welded. Assembly is only a matter of using the supplied bolts to attach the side pieces to the top and bottom pieces. It includes four adjustable stand feet, like most decent furniture, so it can be leveled and set firmly onto the floor with no rocking. As it is for holding a large aquarium, it has no problem supporting my printer. I only wish the base were a little wider, as I use that to hold a 40 gallon breeder tank housing my Dubia roach colony. I was able to place the tank onto the base at an angle so it's supported at opposite corners. It is very light weight as it has only a half inch of substrate and paper egg flats, and the weight of the insects. I did this so that I could keep the printer inside my closet and free up space in the room. For an aquarium with water, I would only use the top of the stand for this as directed.I may purchase another to support a nursery terrarium for baby lizards.

Easy assembly and strong
The instructions suggest two people, but I easily constructed this by myself. Everything seems sturdy and reliable so far, no problems with any of the bolts or any deformities of the frame. Happy overall, especially with the price as I was looking at something else that was about 80 dollars more but it had wood. I'll always trust metal stands over wood, but that's just my preference. Very nice stand, would recommend!
