Angelcare Baby Video Monitor with 4.3" Touch Control Display (AC310)

We love this monitor. Never had any issues with the way it works or being able to see well. It had good reviews for a reason. We only had to buy a second because our toddler dropped it (hard and a few different times) and the screen cracked. Our fault, not the monitors! I don’t think it was made to be a toddler toy but you know how kids love screens! We always put a price of electric tape over the temperature reading on the camera that goes in baby’s room. It’s very bright and when our kid was littler it was a distraction. The company sent us an extra camera with this order and that was a pleasant surprise! Will absolutely use for future kiddos!

Setup was easy, and what attracted me to this system was the ability to wall mount the camera to keep it out of the way. What has been necessary is a second camera though to properly keep an eye on the whole room now that baby is a toddler. At first I was delighted as the package for this system included a card that offered 10% off an accessory camera. Perfect, I thought. Only problem is that the code given does NOT work on their website (and it says only for use on their website) and multiple emails back and forth to the company have not resolved this. While I am not saying I need the discount, it seems bad form to offer something that they are not honoring, hence the removal of stars.

Purchased this in March. We love our Angelcare sound monitor, but with a toddler we now needed video. It worked fine for a few months until the plug stopped charging. I swapped out the charging cord for a new one and it worked for another 2 months, but now it will not hold a charge ...even while plugged in! Total waste. Monitors aren't cheap, but can someone just make one that is reliable and holds up? Is this so difficult? Our camera still works so now I'm not sure what to do. Hopefully this has a one year warranty so I can return it for a new one.

My husband has Alzheimers. He sleeps alot. I bought Angel Care baby video monitor so that I could see and hear when he gets out of bed both in the morning (I get up a couple of hours before he does) and with his afternoon nap. I have had this monitor for a couple of months now and it really has made my life as caretaker much easier. The only disadvantage to this monitor is that the touch screen is not easy to figure out. The instructions that come with the monitor are poor. Initially, I played around with it and then (lightbulb!) went to anglecare.com and found easy instructions. It was then easy to set my preferences. So far, it has held those settings so I have not had to change anything. It has worked really well for me.

3-25-17Heard back from tech support and you can't pair more than one monitor with the cameras.update 3-23-17Having major issues pairing and keeping more than one monitor paired with the cameras. Seems like when one monitor is paired it disconnects the other monitor. The monitors also become unresponsive and have to be powered off and on. Very frustrating. We would like to have one monitor upstairs and one downstairs. I am starting to think you can't pair more than one monitor to the system. I have followed the instructions exactly 10 times and no luck.Waiting to hear back form support. When you call it says they can't take call now so I had to complete an online form.This is a great camera system, but read all the way through to pros cons and quirks. We added a second camera to the system and since then and noticed a few things worth mentioning.See the end of my review for a recap of the 4 different brand baby monitors we have and the pros and cons of each.Using Multiple Cameras-------------------------------Switching between camera 1,2,3,4 on the monitor is a bit tedious. It is multistep process and can be a bit of an annoyance especially in the middle of the night. To change cameras, you hit “OK”, arrow down three times until you reach the camera icon, “OK” again, then arrow down again until you reach the camera you want to select. The monitor does allow for up to 4 different cameras to be viewed on a single screen, but the pictures are much smaller obviously.Super easy to pair and add additional cameras.Talkback Feature----------------------To enable to the talkback feature you simply hit the microphone icon on the left side of the screen. What I have noticed is: 1) This feature often does not work and seems to be dependent on the signal strength. We have one unit upstairs in the 3-year-old’s room and one on the main level for the baby. If we are on the same floor as the camera the signal strength seems to be ok AND the talkback feature works. However, if we are on a different floor the signal icon indicates a weak signal and the talkback feature will NOT activate. 2) I am not sure if the talkback feature is supposed to work while viewing multiple camera at once. We have not been able to get it to work in multiview mode.Issues I would like addressed--------------------------------------1. There needs to be a dedicated button for switching between cameras. It needs to be as easy as tapping a button but instead it is a multiple step process that will likely annoy you if you do it frequently.We have a three-year-old and a 7-month-old we need to keep tabs on so we have invested heavily in monitors. Out of the 4 different ones we own we would recommend the Angelcare and Infant Optics DXR-5 again. The LeFun and Hello Baby aren’t really viable options. The reasons why I recommend the Angelcare and DXR-5 are the same: They just work- night vision works well which is super important to us, signal is fine throughout multi-level home, can add multiple cameras. I've been using the Angelcare video monitor for a month and so far, I love it. The set up was incredibly easy. Literally plug in the camera, turn it on, and turn on the parent unit. Synching the second camera was just as easy as the first and I love the split-screen view. The battery life on the parent unit is really good - I get 7-8 hours before it has to be plugged in. Also, you can set the noise sensitivity for the camera so that it picks up every teeny sound (for my newborn) or just the big stuff (for my toddler). I am extremely happy with my purchase!

The video monitor stopped working for us after 3 months of use. It just would not turn on. That was our second one. It was fine while it worked. Nothing happened to it, it just stopped turning on.

Very happy with this purchase. Love the temperature gage in the baby's room too.

Works awesome! Amazon price was a lot cheaper than any other store that carried this product. It arrived very fast and set up is easy. A lot of reviews said the night vision wasn't that great, it works as great as it could! Love it, everything we need in a monitor. Especially handy having the option to mount it with a magnet or to stand .

I like that I can see and hear baby clearly. However what I did not like about this product is that the battery does not last all night. The starts to die throughout the night. As a parent... I dont want to be woken up to low battery, only want to wake up if the baby needs me. Where can I get replacement battery?

Not impressed at all. Maybe I have a dud? The battery life is terrible - only about 3 hours. I have to leave it attached to the charger so that the battery alert does not go off overnight. The temperature is very inaccurate - constantly says 27C (it’s actually 20C). The viewer is also much fuzzier than I expected. Lastly, I constantly have to touch the screen so that the screen doesn’t “black out”. I’ll be buying another different baby monitor as this one is not usable.

gotta say, not overly impressed with this monitor. we had the AC1500 previously, and it worked fine but with a second baby on the way I decided to "upgrade" this this monitor. the picture is pretty fuzzy, and the sound is some times delayed. I actually hate how the sound shuts off when the unit is "sleeping" and kicks back on when the baby moves/makes noise; it wakes me up, so I have to keep the volume turned down, but when I do that, I cant hear the baby ... lose lose situation ... the red lights for night vision are annoying and the temperature (where it says 68F in the sample photo) is SO BRIGHT, I had to put tape over it, it lit up the whole room!!
