Why did you choose this product over others?:This is the best thermos coffee jug I’ve had. It’s neat, good looking, keeps liquids hot for hours. Positive threads making opening and closing very easy. This is definitely value for money.

Good quality, sturdy, keeps the coffee hot and pouring is a lot easier than the pump action used for other types.I liked it so much that I bought another one!

The product is very pleasing, but a bit small. It is keeping the liquid hot, but, so did the other two I purchased but one fell apart and the other stopped keeping the liquid hot after a short time.

Excellent jug, keeps my husband’s coffee hot all day. It holds 3.5 mugs. It is best to half fill with boiling water and let stand for 5 minutes to warm the pot. I make the coffee black in a small Pyrex jug or cup (3 heaped teaspoons + sweetener), then empty the jug of water, pour in the coffee, leaving enough room for milk. Don’t overfill as you will get an airlock when pouring. People saying that it doesn’t keep contents hot, cannot be warming the jug first!

So far I am impressed with the vacuum jug. Unlike my former one, this has a rubber non slip rim on the base. The release valve has a textured grip, super easy to open and close, plus it is a sleek beast. The handle being long, slim and sturdy gives a perfect balanced grip and tbh it looks really good. I chose the 1.5 litre version, which is perfect for my needs, and matches my kitchen decor.

Good size water stay hot for short time

So I wake up early and want to make coffee for my partner, so that when she wakes up (and i've left for work) , she has hot coffee ready... The result - it works extremly well. A tip i recommend, is to first fill the jug with boiling hot water and close the lid, so that the inside is "pre-warmed". Empty that out once the kettle is boiled, and get a coffee filter dripper and place it over the jug, so that as coffee filters through, it lands in a pre-warmed flask. 12 hours later, the coffee is still warm (but too late to drink, else i wont sleep!) . One other amazing fact - my local, independent coffee shop uses this same brand (2l) and they said the same thing, that this is a wonderful product. I was shocked to see some people had bad experiences. i've been using it everyday for 2 weeks solid!
