Why are you selling it for double what others sell it for? Surprised that Amazon allows you to do this

It is a retired product that you cannot buy at retail stores or online any longer. Lego prices appreciate in value (annually) when sets are retired.

Why is this set $89 more than the official Lego store? Seriously curious.

Probably a retired set no longer available to buy anywhere other than aftermarket.

If I buy this for my white (non-Chinese) nephew, would that be cultural appropriation? His school is very sensitive to these issues.

Absolutely OK to buy this. It’s OK to eat Chinese, Korean or French foods, as it’s OK to build Lego sets of any cultural influence.
