I bought this to go on my mother-in-laws mantle over her fireplace. The fireplace is very dark colored rock and she needed some things on the mantle that were light in color. This was the perfect size, color and is easy to read. She loves the vintage design that is really in style now. It seems well made and was a great value buy for a gift!

Like this clock very much. It does make a slight ticking sound, but not loud at all. It looks great and the price was good and quality was good.

Just what I wanted. It does not make a ticking sound at all. I almost did not purchase it based on another persons review. Glad that I bought it anyway.
