It's not too heavy but it definitely helps to keep the records down and flat

Looks good and adds some weight but I wish it was even heavier (I am just being greedy) and I wish I could find one that I was able to screw down on to the spindle and clamp it - but it does add a little bit of weigh to the record.

I was a little bit sceptical about buying it at first sometimes the Amazon choice stuff can be a little hit or miss but once I got it out of the box and felt the actual weight of it and how well it was machine it was better than I could have ever expected I’m glad I went with this one instead of risking it with one of the coloured aluminium platter weights.

Provides a solid hold for LPs used with my ProJect Debut Carbon DC and I think it improves the sound slightly. Clearer overall and a more defined bass.

I got this weight to help flatten dish-warped vinyl records, which is a common issue with newly manufactured vinyl. One particular album I have has been warped from new, and the cueing arm will not lift the stylus high enough off the record surface on the inner tracks on one side. The weight certainly helped with this.The weight comes in a very attractive box and the weight itself has a stylish satin black (in my case) finish. Quite low profile and allows me to play records with the lid down on my Denon DP-300F turntable.I feel it is not overly expensive compared to some weights on the market.Overall, I am happy with this product and would recommend it.

This is a must for anyone who wants the best possible performance from their turntable, it anchors the LP and stops it from rocking which allows the needle to get the best possible run around the track. It also improves the base!
