One of my favorite books for 1st graders.

My granddaughter, who will be reading soon, loves to have this read to her over and over. She knows some sight words and this encourages her to read. She laughs every time. Read it with spirit and it'll be a big hit!

My 2 year old son loves it. This book was delivered couple of weeks ago and I've read it to him hundreds of times already.It is a good length book, beautifully illustrated and has reasonable repetitions (young kids learn from repetitions).I understand that this book is rated as level 2 and would be better suited for little older kids; but the younger kids would relate to the characters better if the characters were two different animals (say a monkey and a dog) rather than two monkeys of different names (as they are in this book).

We got this book for our visiting grandsons. We were a bit late thinking about getting it, but it only took two days to arrive after we ordered it.My wife was a kindergarten teacher and this book was a favourite in her class, it’s now a favourite for our grandchildren at home.
