So much better than anticipated! Why did I wait so long?
These headphones are very comfortable, sound quality is great, it is easy to connect to my phone, and is great value for the money. Size is good for me but I feel like I have a smaller head than maybe normal so that may be an issue for those who feel they have a larger head. Bluetooth connection is easy and has been reliable with no interruptions noticed so far.

Way Better Than AirPods – I’ll Never Go Back
These are hands-down the best headphones I’ve ever used—I own everything from AirPods to over-ear sets. I’ll never go back to Apple pods again. They’re overpriced, fall out constantly, and hurt my ears. The SHOKZ OpenRun are in a different league.I ordered them, and two hours later they arrived from Amazon—talk about fast service!First off, the fit is perfect. The wrap-around band sits lightly on your head and neck; it feels like one seamless piece. I often forget I’m wearing them—no rubbing, no shifting, no reminders. Even when I’m playing sports, running, or golfing, they stay put and feel like nothing’s there—except for the amazing sound.Sound quality? Incredible. Deep, clear, and immersive—for bone conduction, it blew me away. They manage all that while letting me stay aware of my surroundings, which is huge outdoors.I’ve tried over-the-head headphones like Bose too, and while the sound is great, they start to feel like a clamp after a while—and they’re incredibly expensive. These SHOKZ are way more comfortable for long use and don’t squeeze your head or ears.I sweat a lot, and these handle it like champs—lightweight, sweat-resistant, no slipping, no discomfort, and no shorting out. They also look sleek and aren’t bulky or weird.Best of all, they’re way more affordable than Apple earbuds, with better real-world performance for active use.If you’re thinking about these—stop thinking and buy them. I’d recommend them over any other earbuds or headphones in a heartbeat.

Great sounding feather-light headphones!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was gifted a set of Aeropex by AfterShokz bone-conducting Bluetooth headphones (basically the granddad version of this set) over 4 years ago. While that set still works very well in every way, and is very comfortable and often forgettably light on my head, it has always been larger on me than ideal because I have a smaller sized head than most guys. I got these during Prime Days 2025 for the smaller size. What I noticed first after the improved fit, was the definite improvement in the operation of the Volume/Power button; on the old set, it is almost impossible to tell if you are pressing it correctly unless/until it finally turns on or off because there is no audible or tactile "click" to signal it. These have that "click" and it completely avoids the frustration that the old set evoked. That's a big difference to me. I haven't noticed much else about these that's different from the earlier gen set. The sound quality seems the same, maybe better, actually... less reverb. I'm hoping the battery in these is as good as the earlier gen, because those things still last me for days of city bus rides.Overall, I highly recommend these headphones to anyone looking for great sound while remaining aware of your surroundings, anyone who has a hard time hearing callers' voices on the phone, or filtering out background noise during calls. These are superb for both (especially when paired with a certain "engaging" loop-type earplugs).I will come back eventually to add relevant information regarding durability and battery life.

Best Headphones EVER!!!!
Value for money:I ordered these over 3 years ago and I haven't looked back! They are the absolute best headphones i have ever had! I wanted something that I could listen to music but still be able to hear my boss if need be and these things way outdid themselves! I still have and use this pair of headphones daily and they still work just as great today as they did the day I got them. I have actually gotten several members of my family into them too since they have similar situations where they may be needed but still want to listen to music or books. Pairing is super easy and battery life is phenomenal, 12+hrs of continual usage and recharge time is maybe an hour or two. Sound is clear and even phone calls are crystal clear!!!!Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose these because they are not in the ear headphones.

Great earphones
Great headphones, that can be so inconspicuous, that you forget you're wearing them - unfortunately until they do start hurting on the ears. But taking them down - they rest perfectly around your neck - for a while, or just slightly changing the angle usually solves that problem. I enjoy the "real transparency", my ears are free to hear the surrounding sounds. They do fail completely in very loud surroundings, but I guess that lies in the nature of open ear headphones. Great battery life and easy to reach and press buttons, plus the fact that I can be connected to my laptop and my phone simultaneously, round my positive impression up. They do not work with your head placed on a pillow, the frame will be in the way at the back of your head.
