Can I use this product work on Vitamix plastic container?

Would pose the question to the Vitamix company on how to best clean the plastic container. I use the scouring pad on more stainless type wear in my kitchen as opposed to plastics.

Not sure, I just love scrub buds. Nothing cleans like them on metal pots and pans. Have used them for years. Maybe it is just a packaging/upgrade.
