Fun, fast, portable and easy to get ready to play!
So me and my family have the luxury of having a full size batting cage in our back yard. This would be a good idea if you plan on using the machine to take batting practice. If you are using it to develop your catcher, SS, or infield pop ups no problem but these balls travel and they will break glass!!!Honestly, having owned a similar machine, difference being the balls, I may actually prefer this machine over the other. It is more accurate, easier to move around and far less labor intensive to maintain. We used this machine now for about 3-4 weeks. My biggest concern was the quality of "baseball" but I gotta tell you my boys and I knocked the snot out of these and they threw just as good as they did on day one. They are seemingly the same size as regular base balls, not as heavy and look like very large golf balls. I would assume this set up is for accuracy.Accuracy is about 6-10 inches either side of center and can be 12-16 inches high or low of center. On its fastest setting I had little luck making contact but my son after a bit of practice was hitting consistently. As an aside, the lower settings 1-3 these served no purpose for us. The MPH at those settings really too low in my opinion. There are a few small pieces to pay attention to, this caused me pause when opening the box, good news is they provide plenty of extra should these go missing. We never used the softball set up, we just don't play softball but it seems easy enough to switch over if you'd like.Set up is easy, really easy, its lightweight and pointing the unit on the tripod is a breeze. The machine is quiet which is nice, you will have to wait a few seconds between pitches for the machine to build back up in rpm's but you need time to reset anyhow. We couldn't be happier with this machine! Working the way I do I can't be there to set up and break down the heavy machine and anyone in the family can manage this one.In conclusion, if you have a batting cage or a large field by all means hit away, if not this is great for fielding practice as well. You really have to watch these balls into the glove to catch them and that's important to teach!

Time waster
The lack of accuracy is an understatement. You will spend more time trying to adjust, only to realize it will never throw with any consistency. The pitches can vary up to 18β apart, in any direction. I am going to try to get my money back and return.

Does not work immediately in cold weather.
In temperatures at or below 40, this unit will not work right away. Best thing is to keep in the house until ready to use. The manufacturer knows of the issue and is working to correct it in their next gen machine. Just remember to keep it inside until ready to use and it works well. Hope this helps!

Takes 3-4 minutes to start!
We put this item together, following the instructions and it was very easy to put together. But when we plugged it in and turned it on, it didn't work. My husband tried multiple outlets both in our shop and in our house. When he brought it to the house, he plugged it in and turned it on. Nothing. He forgot to unplug it and went to the kitchen to start supper. About 3-4 minutes later, the pitching machine finally started! So we unplugged it and tried it again a few hours later - same thing happened. We emailed support but haven't gotten a response after a few days. We're going to box it up and return it and buy something else. No response from their support team tells me it's not the best product to purchase.

Perfect machine
It is pretty accurate and seems great. Have used it about 5 times so far and have zero complaints!! The balls for it are hard to get, but other than that. Its a great product!!
