Will these work on sanitaire model sc888 ? anyone know thanks for the help

The default roller for this unit takes a vg1 roller and the brush strips shown are for a vg2 style roller and wont fit. the part number for the vg1 brush strips is 52140 and are black bristles. the strips shown are red and blue and again are for the vg2 style.Please call Bruce Tucker or email with more questions. How do you remove the end caps, to replace the brush strips? Do I need two 10mm spanners, with tube ends. My regular spanners do not work.

there should be a nut on either end of roller and once removed the end cap will slide of. It may be stuck or seized depending on where it's been used, but a few taps with a screwdriver and hammer will generally loosen it up. Hope this helps.BruceEssex Vacuum800-696-8227
