UPDATE 11/30/2017 - Battery failed completely after 4 months
Original review: Fit and finish are fine. Works like a battery should (so far). Same capacity as OEM battery, so I'm not getting a lot more life out of it or anything (still have to charge daily), but that's expected. Overall a fine battery. If your current battery if failing, would be a good solution.UPDATE 11/30/2017. Battery started failing a week or so ago. Phone would shut off with 40+% battery left and light use. Yesterday the phone shut off and would not power back on. I thought the phone was dead. I still had the OEM battery though, so I swapped back to that and the phone came back on. Tested again and this battery is completely dead. Will not charge at all or allow phone to power on. I cannot recommend this battery at this point

Amazing quality at an unbeatable price.
I didn't even realize how poorly my battery was working till I spent a couple days using this new battery. It has been running on battery for over 24 hours of use and my phone is at 69%, before I had to be careful using my device to make sure I got through the day and now I can rock on doing whatever I want with confidence that I'm not going to run out of juice. Worth so much more than the cost for this kind of quality upgrade. Slipped right out of the package (which is also very well made) and into my phone with no issues at all, a perfect fit. Came charged at 50% so it was ready to go out of the box. If you're quentioning the performance of your battery don't even give it a second thought, go with PowerBear and you will absolutely not be disappointed.

Seemed good at first but now won't make it through a day
I bought this because the factory battery on my V10 was barely holding a charge. There are a lot of very cheap batteries out there that don't last. I searched through the reviews trying to find one with mostly positive feedback and powerbear seemed like it was better than most. I bought one of these for my girlfriends G4 and one for my V10. I don't expect a battery to make it through more than a day, but if I can get through a work day without having to charge, i'm happy. The factory battery was capable of this, and at least initially so was the power bear. However, I'm roughly 2 months in and now I can't even get to the evening without having to charge the phone, even though its fully charged at the beginning of the day. And that is with repetitively moderate usage and screen brightness set down pretty far. Unfortunately, I'll have to search for a replacement soon, I heavily rely on my phone and i'm not always able to charge it, so its a big disappointment for sure.

LG phones recognize its not an LG battery
Ok here's the situation. I used the Powerbear a few times and it was fine but then about a week ago it made my phone super hot so I took it out. I waited until today yet to charge it up and use again so I put I my phone and hooked the phone too the charger with the phone off so it would charge faster. After 30 minutes I came back to check it bcz I had to go to work. I click the power button to see how much charge it has but instead of seeing a percentage charge it shows a picture of the battery with a red line going through it and an arrow pointing right and a picture of a battery that said LG. So the phone could tell that the battery want an LG battery and wasn't charging it. So that means it's a waste of money. It might work at first but eventually it could mess up the phone or just not work. I say it's a waste of money bcz I cant use it as I only actually got 8-10 uses from it.

Unacceptable.
This has to be the lowest quality battery a man can get. After about 3 charging cycles, this battery held charge about 10% better than my 16 month old battery that it replaced. In some cases, it charged slower, in others faster, but after about 2 weeks of usage, the discharge on this was happening faster than more than a year old original. Not to mention, the terrible overheating. My phone felt like volcano, even if I used it to talk. Would not recommend.

Doesn't seem to have the life that other third-party batteries do
Got this for my wife, and we are usually very happy with third-party batteries for our phones, but not really that happy with this one. It worked fine for a month or so, and then it seems like it was running out of power faster than it should. My wife replaced her phone after a little bit so we did not use it for that long, but for the short time we used it we were only moderately impressed.

Battery life sucks
I calibrated the battery exactly as the manual instructed and yet this battery is dying quicker than the battery that it replaced. For example, this morning I unplugged my phone around 7:30am and went to sleep. When I unplugged it, it was at 100% when I woke up at noon it was at 63%, I wasn't even using it! And now it's dropped 10% less than than that in the 5 minutes I have been on it. Would not buy again

Long Charge Time
Perfect fit for my camera. Love the warranty. Why would anyone order a battery that doesn't have a warranty? One of the new batteries has been on a charger for almost 24 hours and is at 61% charge. Only 1 charger so I have no way of knowing if this is normal. Verizon doesn't even carry this battery, they are all in for up grade every year. SADSorry, couldn't help it :-)

Fake warranty!
Very disappointed by PowerBear. The Battery hardly lasted 2-3 months but my biggest issue was the fake warranty that is advertised. They have no intention of resolving the issue or giving a replacement. It has been months of me going back and forth and wasting my time.

holds the charge pretty good for a 3rd party battery (after 2 weeks ...
Its a OK battery. Charge almost as fast as a OEM battery, holds the charge pretty good for a 3rd party battery (after 2 weeks of usage) but my main concern is that if youre planning on using your cell phone while charging, forget about it completely. Even on fast charge, your battery will drain or simply stay at the same % but it wont add any battery time. That is the biggest difference between the OEM battery but its quite a bummer. If you want to put a quick charge before leaving, put the phone on airplane mode but stop using it completely while its charging.

It works!
I had a few second thoughts based on the other reviews. After following the instructions provided I had a great experience with this battery. Then it seemed to charge and discharge very quickly. After a week or two I began to think that this battery was a bust but suddenly it began to work better than expected, even under heavy use. If you need a replacement suddenly this battery will treat you right. I don't regret buying this one.

Battery is thick to begin with, swelled over time.
I have been rotating this battery with the original part for 8 months. When I first purchased it, it held it's charge well but the battery was thick enough that the case didn't fit well. Over time the battery has swelled even more. So much so that it pops the case off the phone, and I now fear to use it for risk of fire.If you see the attached pictures you'll note the width and shape difference.UPDATE: After contacting PowerBear, I've upgraded the rating to three stars for their customer service. They responded promptly to my concern and had me a replacement unit within a day! I hope this new unit doesn't present the same challenges.

Don't expect it to last more than 4-5 months
Followed all the calibration rules and the battery worked marginally better than the original LG battery, but was still completely dead by the end of the day. I barely touch my phone whilst at work all day, so this was after only mild-medium usage. The days I used it heavily, particuarly for taking photos on a trip, it was dead by lunchtime. The last month I've noticed that the phone gets quite hot when charging, and that the charge can drop 30-40% over the course of 1-2 hours, after sending maybe 5 texts. Forget using it with google maps - it will drain in about 30 mins even with the screen brightness turned down to low! Now it's at the point where it's been plugged in all day, and the battery hasn't risen above 4% even though it shows that it's charging.I assumed that if they were offering a two-year warranty, that it should last longer than 4-5 months, but guess I was wrong. The upside was that it wasn't too expensive.
