can I use double curtain rods

Our brackets currently do not accommodate double curtain rods at this time.

The ad says shipping is $3.75 yet when I check out the shipping has jumped to $20.15. Why is that?

It might be an add-on item and you have to go over $25 dollars for the cheaper shipping.

Do these leave enough room to fully open (perpendicular to the window) the blind slats behind the curtain without touching the curtain?

Yes but just barely. I have a the bracket extended out as far as it goes.

There is a vid showing the bracket sliding on from the front XL ver. the product pics show it sliding down over the top.Is that a different product?

Yes. There's a difference in the style of brackets. The way your blinds are installed and the size determines which brackets you require. Got the job done

They were smaller than I expected, but worked as I hoped. I'm using 1 pair to hold 3 somewhat heavy panels over a single fully extended thin rod covering a bit over 2 meters.

Keeps slipping off

I used these to hang some block out curtains. The weight kept making the bracket slip off. I think they would work OK for very light material only.

Your need light curtains even nets anything heavier they fall off

I bought these to put a curtain pole on. They don’t hold anything the minute you put anything on it it falls off. I’ve had to gorilla double sided tape to try to hold them but even then they tend to slip and fall. The curtains are very light also.
