Black High Heat UV Resistant #64 Platinum Rubber Crepe Band Made in USA (3 1/2" x 1/4") Large Premium Fishing/Angler Rubberbands (64-1/4lb)

Sturdy rubber bands purchased for exterior use. Regular rubber bands dry out and break within days being in the sun. Thus far these have held up quite nicely and are still soft and pliable a couple of weeks in.

Perfect Ranger Bands. Holds elasticity well, difficult to break. Super black in color, until you use them for the first time; the rubber releases a powder or film of some kind and they turn gray in color. Not a big deal at all, just noteworthy.

I use these to hold the wing onto the fuselage of my radio control airplanes. They work well for that application.

I use a lot of rubber bands this size and used to get the tan colored ones from the office supply store. Some of those were better than others. I discovered that some of the tan ones would not only disintegrate and break over time, but also turn into a sticky brown goo that was impossible to remove from whatever you had wrapped in it. So far, I have not experienced either issue with these natural rubber bands.

So far the rubber bands are working as intended with good initial strength and durability, but we’ve only had them for a few days. Need to see if they hold up with being outside and in constant use or if they quickly degrade and fall apart.
