After thoroughly enjoying the original leather Frenchie, it's leather had run it's course and I went looking for a replacement in the same vein as the Frenchie original, and found the new CX6 Ultra Slim Speed Wallet they had put out since then. It was not all positive, namely, I had to let go of 3 of the cards which formerly fit in my original Frenchie (which had 3 compartments for cards) which did not fit in my 12 card CX6. At first this disappointed me, because it felt like a step down. However after giving it a go for 3 days, I realized this new version had some new upsides the older one lacked. Biggest was that I had to open the original Frenchie to easily access the cards via the pulls. The CX6 I found that the higher tab height and the smoother material made it where I simply pull on the tabs with it fully closed and it works just as good as opening the wallet! All in all, the original Frenchie was a 5/5, but I feel the CX6 is as well, but they aren't direct replacements for one another. Go with the original if you want a bit of extra space, but go with the CX6 if you want a super-premium look/feel and are okay with trading a little bit of card capacity in exchange for more durable materials and improved ease of card access. Highly recommended!

BF was in search of the perfect wallet. He still is, even after buying this. Bought the 12 card wallet. When stuffed to the max, the tabbies to pull the cards out still have a tendency to get stuck in the wallet. When the card is not full, the cards have a tendency to FALL OUT of the wallet, especially when you turn it upside down. Although the material is "slim," the wallet itself is still not very slim. Since it is short, when stuffed, your cards are stacked and make the wallet thick, instead of being spread out a bit more to disperse the thickness. In other words, if you put stuff in here it will make your wallet fat and it will bother your butt when you sit.So, this is not the perfect wallet. But everybody is crazy about that carbon fiber. However, after a year of use, the wallet does seem to be holding up and remains in good condition. Personally, I think it's ugly, not slim, and falls short of its promises, ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE. The magnetic closure is also insecure.My BF found the wallet the most useful wallet he ever owned for cash, quick insertion and removal. But he was not pleased when the wallet is partially filled and crds fall out, and that the pull tabs get stuck in the wallet, thus totally defeating the purpose of a "speed wallet."Wallet unicorn...where are you? We thought you were the one, but we gonna have to break up. You're a wallet, you can't even hold my money properly, and you were expensive.

Best wallet ever. Its compact, fits neatly into my pocket while having just enough holding space for card and cash. Would recommend to all searching for something different.

This wallet replaced my previous ten year old wallet that I lost a few weeks ago. I love the carbon fiber look mixed with the Italian leather especially since I like cars. As they say, functionality does meets style in this case. The money is easier to get out than to put in, but its not bad over all unless you have crappy bills, which will happen (They don't slide out easily). The credit card its easy to get out, however just one problem. You have to put the wallet upright in your pocket because the tabs in the top will get push in upside down and it's not as easy to pull out the credit cards once that happens.

Bought this after carefully reading the reviews on it, most of the negative reviews stating the functionality isn't what they expected and I kinda agree on that. I'm using 9 cards inside this wallet and I can report that the cards are not falling out of the wallet by any means. However, the tabs sometimes get stuck and sometimes it is hard to push back the cards inside the pockets . With that said, I would definitely recommend it, this wallet is the sexiest wallet I ever had. The build quality on this is exceptional, the size is perfect and you will get used to the negative side of it, Trust me... it is not a big flaw that makes the wallet unusable.
