Great materials used, nice litz braiding, love the neutral dark grey/black color. It sounds and performs very well. You can change out the termination plug very easily and quickly. Make sure you use firm pressure when changing connection terminations or it will disconnect very easily…be firm and it will be secure. The ear hooks are preformed and are of a good shape, at least for my ears. Its really a nice looking cable and has a quality feel to it. Its not a small cable but I find the size and braiding style very nice….so why 4 stars and not 5? Well, one small minute gripe- the cable is a bit stiffer than other cables I have with this type braiding and size. It may gain some flexibility over time but I think it the sheathing material used that gives the cable its stiffer profile. Still a GREAT cable. I still very much use it. The aesthetics of the cable offset it mild stiffness IMO.

It’s obvious to me that most of the people leaving negative reviews didn’t even hook the cable up correctly. As long as you click the attachments in all the way this cable is really well built and sounds amazing. The tolerances are quite tight (as you want from a cable you will be using on the go), so you have to give it a good push to snap it into place, but purchasing this cable is a no brainer honestly.The Petrichore is an improvement over the noir notOnly in looks but in functionality as the the cable is lighter itself and thus doesn’t put any weight on the IEMs - this allows for consistent fit on even trickier IEM’s (monarch II, eclipse, etc). Noir is still dope though if you prefer that look.If you are on the fence, don’t be… I have 3 of these and have experienced 0 quality control issues. I felt compelled to leave a review because of the smooth brains who failed to set the cable up properly leaving negative reviews… that is probably 100% user error on these negative reviews tbh.Some product deviation amongst sun $200 cables is expected, but this design is sooooo easy not to mess up due to the intelligently designed connection point that it’s perfect for a lower cost cable. I would honestly pay $130 for this cable without flinching.

Got this to replace the stock cable on my Timeless 7hz. It's balanced, and has easy to change plugs, so works with all the portable DACs in my collection. The ear loop is less stiff than cheap cables, which is a plus for me. Way more clarity oomph to the sound coming through these.

Can't keep sound in both channels, would not trust linsoul again. They also lied about their crinacle colab earphones. Buyer beware of linsoul and KZ item

The Tripowin Noire offers as a reasonably priced upgrade over most stock cables. It’s well-made and handles nicely. The ability to swap out the different plugs is a huge bonus, especially at the price.

The interface between the cable and the adapter unit depends purely on friction. So depending on the differences in manufacturing tolerances, will affect how easy the adapter falls off. In my case every 3 or 4 times I would need to pick up the adapter from the floor or where ever it dropped. The ability to change from 3.5 to 4.4 or 2.2 is nice.. just not well executed. If the pins were longer maybe the friction would have ebbs enough or some sort of latch setup would have been nice.I even tried duck taping it, but it caused uneven pressure on the pins and one channel would go out. In my case the left channel.

The connectors are only held in with friction. During a recent trip, I brought this cable. It fell out of the connector as I was trying to use it several times. Eventually, I lost the connector entirely as it was on the end of the cable and now is not on the end of the cable. It just... fell off. After only a couple of days, this cable is now worthless.I cannot even believe how terrible this design is. If I could give zero stars I would. I'm furious.

I've used Tripowin cables & the HBB Mele before, so I picked this up expecting it to be solid. The plug housing is a bit long compared to FiiO's LC-RE Pro, but it's also about a quarter of the cost. The connection is secure, the hardware is metal and the QDC connectors are exactly as you'd expect, even though Tripowin doesn't have pictures of them posted anywhere. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the cable is a bit stiffer than I'd like.

Excellent cable and very convenient to have the three options to change the detachable plugs.The 2.4, 4.4 and 3.5 plugs can be easily changed and secured, you only need to make sure you put them correctly (look for the very small gap at the cable's connector and the protuberance at the plug you want, align them, push them together and done).I got both, the Petrichor and the Noire, and they are doing a great job, especially at that price + (very important) the plugs interchangeability.

El cable tiene un recubrimiento plástico que le hace sentir de mala calidad. Sin embargo por el precio no se podría pedir mucho más. El conector de las puntas intercambiables se siente seguro pero no creo que sirva para llevarlo en un bolsillo pues no tiene seguros solo es plug in. El PROBLEMA está en que cuando se reproduce un vídeo hay descordinacion entre el audio y el vídeo. Yo uso un cable kbear con terminación pentacon 4.4 y nunca me había sucedido esto de hecho pensé que eso solo sucedía con conexiones Bluetooth así que comencé borrando el caché de los programas de vídeo y luego reinicie el dispositivo un Dac fiio m11 plus ltd. En vista de que nada de esto funcionó volví a instalar el cable kbear y para mí sorpresa se corrigió la descordinacion. Entonces la verdad no recomiendo el producto. No lo voy a regresar porque tardo prácticamente un mes en llegar y no voy a esperar otro mes y medio por el reembolso los usaré únicamente cunado no tenga planes de ver videos.
