There is therefore a risk of leaving marks on a soft surface such as leather, espectially as the clamps has small teeths for extra grip. Does it fir a mercedes sprinter?

To be honest I ended up not using mine the first one was to small. They sent me a larger one but I’d lost interest. I have the MG HS exclusive and it would have fit that. Not sure if that helps you.
